Just picked up the 5cd set. Time out of mind is my favourite Dylan album so for me this is cool but i guess it takes a fanatic to need more than the 2cd version. The previous infidels themed bootleg series was much more essential.

QuoteMKjan I was among the many hopefuls camping out in the parking lot for the Benefit concert in January '73 There was some serious waiting and stress about if the Stones would be given visa's. Tell us all about it! Did you catch a glimpse of them?

QuoteAquamarine QuoteKingbeebuzz I live in the UK. All through the 1960s I bought each Stones album at the time of release (all UK versions) from my local record shop and none of them were ever "factory sealed". The LPs were in racks so that you could look through them and read the covers but when you bought one it came from fresh stock held behind the counter on racks and was mint

Quotehockenheim95 Quotefilstan Outstanding! Where did this come from? The original B&W footage was on the Crossfire Hurricane Blu Ray as bonus material. Some Songs were on the standard edition and even more on the japanese one! I think crossfire hurricane had 3 versions each with different bonus material: European, American and Japanese.

Quoteslewan Bob Dylan has done this since 2012… everything that hasn't been commercially used becomes public domain after 50 years (= 50 years after the end of the year of the recording). So if on Jan 1st 2023 they release a 1792 show it's basically without copyright and they earn nothing on it?

Good question? Is Europe 1970 now out of copyright? Or does pink Floyd do this because they know others have those tapes as well?

QuoteTheBlockbuster They could've streamed an unreleased show for free on youtube to honor Charlie. Free + youtube ensures a lot of viewers, but a "Kiwse" restream behind a paywall, how many people will be interested in that, a few hundred maybe? Somebody please explain why i should buy this ppv when I'm going to buy the Japanese blu-ray of that same concert and will probabl

Terrible This is going to be very expensive. Will need the Japanese bluray+cd combo. With all the ridiculous European import taxes itll at least become 150 euro. Almost a concert ticket.

There is now available the CD of the concert in april 1969 at the la forum. Previously that had been available in a box called stages. That was available in the early 90s I think the spectacular i dont live today take is the one once included on the 2lp the Jimi Hendrix concerts. That was available in the 80s. Anyway this CD also sports a fantastic version of Spanish castle magic. As well as lon

QuoteEleanor Rigby Is this another "archives" release? Another I won't bother with. For me, archives are concerts > 40 years ago. So many great shows sitting on the shelf. You're missing out dude. Even Bremen is a fun watch on a Sunday afternoon. Sure beats watching the news

QuoteChrisL I saw Bob at the Palladium the last two nights. Wednesday was great, but last night was really amazing. He just sounded fantastic. Plus an added highlight ... I was standing along the back wall with a friend and I spotted a familiar-looking face walking toward me, Jimmy Page. I said, "Enjoy the show, Jimmy." He looked at me and said, "Thank you," and then co

QuoteKRiffhard QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteBig Al Putting the, somewhat, concise Blue & Lonesome to one side, the last few Stones albums were released during the height of the CD-age, whereby, seemingly, every act was hellbent on filling the format to the brim with music. During the 90’s, it was far from uncommon to get albums with running-times of 50+ minutes. Many now, in retrospect, view thi

All the references to Coltrane are surprising. I never heard any Coltrane in eight miles high, but apparently there is. And then later on he refers to McCoy Tyner too.
