Dandy you are correct, my bad. Only I found it intriguing to find out he uses 2 (at least) which I certainly did not know about before. I love the fact that he can't be arsed removing the capo to do Some Girls but I guess PIB is up afterwards....?

Hello fellow IORRians! I ordered my Dvd/cd combo of Wiltern a good week before its release and it still hasn't showed up+ all record shops I've talked to tell me they have not received one single copy! Anybody got any inside info why? Are anyone else having difficulties getting a copy?

Hello fellow IORRians! I just rewatching San Jose April 99 and after Saint Of Me Keith switches his white 60's Telecaster to another white 60's Telecaster! I thought there was only ONE 999?!?! Anyone could shed some light on this? Mathijs??

QuoteHalfNanker Quotegeorgemcdonnell314 They have obviously rehearsed several of the new songs which they played at Racket so it will mostly be refreshing those songs. I do not think they will do a club gig this time, but they may surprise us. Also, I think they will change a few songs this tour and give us a few fresh songs. I expect the a set list to be mostly the same as the last tour

Quotegeorgie48 QuoteRockman hhhhhhaaaa good eye there georgieeeeeeee Thanks, Rockman! About Brian ... in 1971 I was hitchhiking in Iceland of all places, when two cars with eight French stopped. They allowed me to join them. During a coffee break I noticed that one of them was a copy of Brian Jones. Amazing. Even more so, one year later I was in a train taking me from Metz to Paris and at som

No contest Voodoo Lounge is PROPER Stones. Runner up Steel Wheels as B2B is a strong 3rd. If I could get Victor Hugo on the side I might consider DW. As long as HD ain't their last album albeit with 5 good tunes (Angry, Tell Me Straight, Live By The Sword, RS Blues and Mess It Up) I guess it's alright.

The worst song they've released the last 30 years. The only thing that redeems it is the sax solo. The introducing rhythm guitar is Jagger through and through, Keith would never play like that, Spin Doctors Pt II. Awful and not worthy The Rolling Stones. NO swagger. No Stones Magic. Sounds like MOR ca 1993. As danceable as Offspring or Green Day. Come Mess It Up I dance like crazy. T

Same here, 25X5 was the proper introduction for me. Like Keith (albeit 25 years later) I lived in Switzerland for 2 years in the 90's and I used to borrow the VHS every week from the local library. Happy days!

It sounds like a great evening!!!! I wish we could have summat similar here in my home town but people are just too stuck up here at the other end of the line. Bugger. Are you going to film this Stonesian feast for the whole of its duration for the purpose of putting it up on YT?

Quotebitusa2012 Quotewiredallnight QuoteVoodooLounge13 There's no physical release for Mess It Up, right? Just digitally released and the remix? A promo CDR: (if it is genuine and not a bootleg...) For me it's the opposite Rod! I was (apart from Angry) rather underwhelmed during the virgin listen for the first 6 songs but then things shook up when Mess It Up started and I im

QuoteVoodooLounge13 Could it be the lack of Charlie?? For me, it just doesn't SOUND like a Stones record. Specifically, it doesn't SOUND like the Stones. I hear Mick singing loud and clear, and it's the best he's sounded since B2B IMHO, but the album lacks the distinctive Stones sound.... I am happy it's doing so well in the charts though!! Very happy for them, and

One of their best songs, easily in the Top 5 for me. I have loved it since I heard it the first time, wish they would've played it live more often. It's the song along with Beast Of Burden I will regret not being lucky enough to have been getting live. Along with Acquiesce and A Day In The Life it's the pinnacle of co-operation. Magic.

QuoteVoodooLounge13 I guess I truly am in the minority around here. Underwhelmed with HD, and there is not a single track that gets stuck in my head. Nothing that I point to and say Classic. It's been 3-4 weeks now since I even gave it a spin. I look forward to hearing the songs live, if only to get more unheard songs heard live. SSOH is a huge letdown and I don't really understand

QuoteBig Al QuoteGasLightStreet I buy very few music magazines these days (going back 10 years or so) but this one I will hopefully find. I haven't bought a music magazine in years, after religiously reading the likes of the NME, Q, and MOJO for several years. Occasionally, like when stranded at a railway station, I'll flick through one at a newsagent, like WH Smiths. What I notice at

QuoteSpud QuoteTopi It's a racket, alright! quite so . If I'd known I would have just bought the vinyl to start with and would have given the CD a miss until this bonus edition came out . I'm not buying it on CD again within weeks of the bloody release ! I felt the same but then I remember missing out on the ABB Deluxe in 2005 so might as well splash out on the double CD

Quotebitusa2012 QuoteMadMax Anyone stating Depending On You is better than Streets Of Love or indeed Already Over Me is not getting what The Stones are about. Having said that it is a beautiful song but the lack of Charlie does a lot. Already over Me and SOL couldve been written by Gram Parsons and Marvin Gaye, larger than life ballads. As soon as Mess It Up and Live By The Sword kick in you know
