Quotegotdablouse Good to hear some of the good deals went to some IORRers. So they didn't take cash at the desk even at the very end, you had to buy on the site ? On Sunday they said they might start selling direct after a certain time, 7 I think. Check here but I don't think you can edit your UserID, you'll have to contact bv for that, his contact email is in the articles on t

Well, I've not posted on here for a long time but just want to thank all of you for the price drop advice. I arrived at Seatwave just after 7pm and joined a short(ish) queue (or what passed for a queue) while checking the Seatwave prices online. I had my eye on 2 tickets in B1, Row E which were then priced at just over £800 inc. booking. I kept checking and the prices started to drop quite

Green River by CCR - I didn't have a record player and had to pay my older sister so I could use hers! First albums were Get Yer Ya Ya's Out and Parsley Sage etc., by S&G (still no record player but working like hell for pocket money to pay my sister off )

Oh man! Lisa looks so disheartened in that pic. Down on one knee, head bowed...she's a broken woman! If they can be persuaded to do Sunday's show I'll have to get catheterised. I wouldn't want to be blamed for the breakup by paying a visit to the toilet.

Not long back from the O2 and an absolutely great show. I’m amazed that it’s being said here that there were “thousands of empty seats”. What the hell is wrong with you slybri74? Were you there? Do you just like to stick the knife in at every opportunity? Which UK tabloid are you quoting? I was in the arena from 7pm and not too many people watched the Kooks but from about 8:15 the place stare

I was at the O2 yesterday and had a quick look at the bus services. There are 2 bus routes that will ultimately take yo

BWT the night buses that serve this area of London are the N15 and the N50, but you'll need to catch them on the other side of the river to the O2 (hardly any night buses run south of the river) and they'll both take you through central London. They're are not as bad as some like to make them out to be and can be quite an experience....and, yes, I've frequently missed the last

It's a very long walk to Victoria from the O2. If you miss the last train and the traffic at the O2 is bad, or cabs can't be found, I suggest that you walk into Greenwich, go under the Thames via the Greenwich Foot Tunnel, which is open 24/7 (but the lifts might not be working at that time so you'll have to climb roughly 100 steps up - I've done it many times but never counte

If anyone really does get stuck and misses the last public transport back to Central London or can't get a cab in the O2 area, I suggest that you walk into Greenwich as there is a pedestrian tunnel there, just past the site of the Cutty Sark. It's called the Greenwich Foot Tunnel and it's open 24/7 but the lifts may not operate that time of night so you may have to walk up approx

I was aware of them throughout the 60's 'cos of my older brothers and sister but they really entered my world at Hyde Park in 1969. I was 11 and my brother was "babysitting" me so he took me along. He was 16....what a great brother and babysitter! I'm finally repaying him by taking him to see them at the O2 in August. I've been to every London gig since Earl's

As a Londoner, I'd say that a lot of inner London is safe but suggest that you don't hang around the Kings Cross area, which I believe is still a well known red light area! Try Covent Garden, Leicester Square etc.,

I'm truly sorry that you've lost your Mum recently. Not trying to excuse Keith...just wondered if it could be a contributing factor. Everyone copes with bereavement differently...as Mick proved after losing his Dad last year.

It's only 8 weeks since Keith's Mum died. Has anyone stopped to think that he is still grieving her and that his head might be messed up because of that? Just a thought.
