Thank you Bjornulf for your weekly account with the added bonus of lovely Spring flowers. Here in North Wales we noticed lots of wood anemones and violets when we took our dog for a walk in the local woods yesterday. It was good to feel a connection with the rest of the world and to know Spring is unfolding just as it should. Can't wait to see the Stones. BBC tomorrow night for us I think an

Yes big thank you Bjornulf for your care, your dedication, your good sense, your ethics, your respect and for honouring and enjoying and sharing the essential, indispensable, inimitable rolling stones.

Thank you so much Bjornulf for adding this thread to an already great site. You report everything in such a clear measured way. I especially value your shopping trip reports which are quite similar to our experience in the UK. We've been in lockdown here in North Wales for nearly 2 weeks with months to go yet and my daily visits to IORR are helping so much. It's been the first site I go

Rock on Ronnie! So good to see him. He looked really good but the crowd was going crazy it wasn't so easy to hear him. I'm pathetically grateful for any sight or sound of the Stones, individually, collectively, whatever. So thank you X Factor, 1D & Ronnie.

Thank you very much for posting the article & photo. A friend was disappointed to see recent pics of George Clooney which suggested he'd had some cosmetic work. Somewhat smugly I said that's something you can't accuse Mick or Keith of doing. However... in that photo Mick's hair is blonder than I've ever seen it before and he looks "lifted" especially his n

Thanks everyone so much for the amazing videos.Great to see the full stage view of the start of the show & the film of the plane flying over. Brilliant. Being of a certain vintage it's especially precious now to get multiple contributions from fans. Much better usually than the "professional"efforts we had to settle for in the early days. We now get a true record of a brilli

Thanks so much for the photos & setlist. Mick looks wonderful. Please lose the blue jacket, Keith. It isn't worthy of such a style icon. Worried About You & You got the Silver - wow. Wish I could have been there. That photo of Mick with his arms outstretched is one of the best I've ever seen & such a relief after the last few sad weeks. Thanks everyone again.

We won tickets for Cardiff. I'll never ever forget it. We were in the special free bar with our free goody bags as the sun was setting and it was like being in a dream. Then we were led behind the stage(!!!) and up to the balconies. It was an overwhelming sight to see such a huge crowd moving and singing along and responding to Mick especially. Wherever he was, the crowd's eyes were too

I wasn't going to post until I saw the picture on Mick's facebook & my eyes filled with tears. It's a beautiful image and his words are heartbreaking. Many condolences and best wishes to the ones who'll love and miss her so much. So sad.

Absolutely not. It's very much to his credit that his face looks real not fake. Mick changed ideas of male beauty when he was young and he's showing older can be beautiful too. Leave your gorgeous expressive face alone please Mick.

Many happy returns Mick. Thanks for the music and the shows and for still caring about both. You look wonderful and sound amazing. Thank you and all the band for giving us all a great show at Hyde Park and we can't wait for the next leg.

Twice in Chester 1965ish and once at the Cavern. My friend's brother bet her that the Stones wouldn't last 2 years then. Strongest memories apart from how loud & good they were,Brian's whistling on "Walking the dog" & the way he jumped back. Also his back-up vocals and just the presence of him. I think a set generally lasted only 4 or 5 songs. Everyone rushed t

Dear Rolling Stones, just wanted to say you were right about Miss You & I was wrong. It was the one song the youngsters were still singing as they danced away from the show. Thank you for a great show and particularly All Down The Line & Bitch but everything really. Thank you for the kind people who posted such great quality film. I've watched "Gimme Shelter" so far &

I loved this show so much. A beautiful day, amazing setting(those trees!) and the Stones are, to me, always perfectly imperfect which is what makes them so unbelievably special. The only fault was the sound was much too low to drown out the idiots who would rather listen to their own voices than appreciate the spectacular performance in front of them but we were able to move away & get quite

We can be very proud indeed. They were wonderful. I must admit when the broadcast started with "Miss You" my heart sank a little bit but I ended up loving it. There were a couple of heart in mouth moments particularly at the start of "2000 Light Years" when Mick seemed offkey & again when you could hear him frantically trying to get Ronnie's attention later in the son

Thank you so much for recording this. It made a grown woman cry. Please let them play this at Hyde Park. Still love Ronnie though and his style. Not a fan of too much fancy guitar stuff but this song does need Mick Taylor I think.

November 1963 Cavern Club Liverpool but just about managed to see them start before I had to dash to catch last bus home. Much better experience April 1964 concert at Royalty Theatre Chester then September 1964 at the ABC Chester. So glad it's lasted so well & so long.

Loved her confidence & aggression. Fantastic version. The Stones absolutely got it right & Florence was an inspired choice. Probably the best guest Gimme Shelter ever. So grateful for all the film which allowed the fans who missed out to share a classic performance.

Well, who'da thunk? Florence rules. Best guest Gimme Shelter in my opinion. Oh to have been her for that night. She really squared up to Mick & challenged him on his own stage. Still didn't stop him. What a man & what a woman. Good job. Thanks so much for capturing that.

Million million thanks for the films. I feel I've waited for these for 50 years. Unbelievably good to see the Stones exactly from the audience viewpoint. Honest records of how great they are live. I feel like throwing all the official dvds away(not really!) because of over-editing,unnecessary close-ups and the directors thinking tricks like overzooming in & out etc recreate the excitemen

Thank you for 50 fabulous years. I loved you from the moment I heard you & seeing you clinched it for me. From Chester, the Cavern , Knebworth, to Shepherd's Bush via New York, Oslo, Hawaii etc etc, it's all been amazing and always always exciting. So sorry we had to part company as far as live shows are concerned over too high ticket prices for me but I've still got the music

Sorry this is a bit late but I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who posted last night. I couldn't leave iorr last night from when the first pics of the arena started to appear, then the magic of seeing the setlist unfold and the excitement of the generous and happy fans sending info straight away. Brilliant. I was certainly feeling "doom & gloom" at not being able to

The modern "Cavern" is absolutely nothing like I remember the original. It's a joke - a very unfunny one! The real Cavern broke every health & safety rule going, the stairs were lethal, no fire exits, it was smelly & dark, the walls ran with sweat on a good night. It got so packed you couldn't move. In other words, fantastic! Great acoustics and you were so close to t
