It's nice to see that this thread still is in action. Started out as a wishlist some months ago and still going strong! The idea of this thread was to have a list similar to BV's one from the fans and get it sent to the "Fab4" and so it was, but it's great to see the interest!

Well there's always the choice between "going to the doctor and be able to play or not and put his guitar on the shelf" I think Keith chooses to do what "he's really good at" according to himself and rest of us, play rock and roll in the best Stones manner ever!

In the end there's only one band left to take rock 'n roll all the way to the grave and that's the Stones. Since my first single in 1964 I've been hooked up and never felt that I would halter on my fanship to theese guys. I was numbed by the death of Brian Jones, mourned for a long time actually. I was hurt by the departure of Mick Taylor. A bit angry on Bill's departure.

Björnulf! Without this site we fans all over the worldn't be able to share views both positive and negative. Read news about this band, news that sometimes has traveled faster to this site than anywhere else and therefore has been really up front in many ways. One more thing I like about this site is that you yourself very often engage in conversations on the "Tell me" forum.

Brian Jones, if he was alive and in control, could contribute to this band much more than anyone else have done through the years. He was brilliant! So don't compare him to Chuck.

Well I think it's the same way when you expect that you will make love to your old fancy lady. A lot of expectations and still it doesn't happen. Just joking! It's frustrating but also revitalising. The sounds of silence is building up such tension and excitement about this new album and tour. We will be bursting soon!

Still surrounded by pretty good looking women! No question about it he did take a day off work. Hope Keith is working hard on the album (if not finished) and preparing for the tour. Manhattan Beach is quite a nice name to the album and tour. I guess the 400 people on stage will be sunbathing in the floodlights from the stage. Relaxing in their beachchairs that will be given to them at th

It's a Sad Day, he was one of the most great blues singers ever in my opinion. I had the pleasure to listen to him and his band in 2003. They played at a local club just north of Halmstad. A very nice place called Gostas Café in Steninge. In the middle of the concert he said and I qoute: "You know later this summer (2003) there is a band called The Rolling Stones which will visit S

I can only refer to ChrisM's post above! I've never been decieved but a bit disappointed on some songs and occasions by the Stones. But this "marriage" has been going on for longer than any of my other relationships and that proves to me that they have delivered! 41 years this year!

Well as far as I know they made a live performance on a flat bed truck and that was preceeding a pressconference before a tour! I think the band is working hard on a lot of things right now and they sort of thrives on that fact. Videos, album, tour and rehearsals! A lot to do and then there's also preparations such as the clothes, the stage, the fysics (Jagger) and the booklets, posters and

Bill said he'd quit touring just to keep a space open for the eventuality that Mick call him for the new Stones! - just being ironic nothing to get any hang ups on. Good to see that he's eager to tour with the rythm kings!

Well Duane as much as i respect your question here I must say that it's a bit odd comparing Celine Dion with the Stones. The Stones will not try to grow old gracefully and become a Vegas act. They might play there on an odd occasion or two but it will be during a world tour and not as a standing act. That wouldn't suit them at all!
