QuoteRobertJohnson Quoteamg077 QuoteStonesfan62 Thanks to everyone who has submitted their top 5 Stones albums and top 20 Stones songs please keep them coming. There have been a lot of songs I don't really care for which have received a lot of votes and likewise songs I absolutely love have received hardly any votes. Would any songs on Hackney Diamonds make your top 20??? AT least not for

Rolling Stone Blues is clearly my fave track on the album so far, followed by Dreamy Skies and Live By The Sword. If it wasn't for Gaga's awful shrieking, Sweet Sounds Of Heaven would come in a close second. Great album though, still growing.

I haven't heard the track yet (and I won't for another 2 weeks) but its reception here as well as in the media outside of this little bubble is overwhelmingly positive. What I don't get is that some fans are worried about the single's projected charts-performance. With the way charts are being compiled nowadays they're completely meaningless. Have been for years. @ matxill So you reckon all the over-sensitive snowflakes and self-pitying crybabies are spokespersons for the "anti-woke" crowd? Seriously? That's absurd. Really looking forward to Bill Maher returning soon btw, now that the writers strike is drawing to a close. About time, too.

It is my belief that all voices have a right to be heard. If you don't agree, then debate it; challenge it; and create a broader discussion. Cancel culture is real, and it really shouldn't be. Exactly.

If that is his opinion based on his experience, you can confront him with your own worldview and criticise him all you want. But penalising and cancelling him for voicing his opinions, however wrong and prejudiced they seem to be, is sick and deplorable. I don't even know the guy very well, met him only a couple of times but I know he's definitely not a racist. Far from it. Decades of r

Sickening, anyway you look at it. Only a while ago, just before all that wokeshit hit the fan, I published a book consisting of a dozen in-depth interviews I had conducted over the years: Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Bill Wyman, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Ray Davies, Pete Townshend, Graham Nash, David Bowie, Elvis Costello and Joe Strummer. That's right, not a single black o

I totally agree This is supposed to be a rock and roll forum and I read people complaining about how he should dress in front of royalty... Cheap rings, too. And he didn't eve

QuoteMononoM They had enough time now to get more capacity to make vinyl records.. I think they just keep the prices up because we're buying anyway... Doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Think again.

Mostly because there's too much demand, not nearly enough pressing capacities. That also explains rising prices.

QuoteBig Al Quotegeorgelicks QuoteBig Al Did Angry crack the Billboard Hot 100? I had brief look yesterday, but didn't spot it. I know they haven't fared well on this chart - or even entered it, for that matter - in recent years, but I'd have thought it would, at least, sneak-in somewhere amongst the bottom entries. Not at all, not even Bubbling Under (Ghost Town charted there at

As for all the YouTube, iTunes, Spotify et. al. statistics: I couldn't care less. Don't use any of those myself, anyway. In fact, I don't listen to digital crap. At all. So for me it was the 7"single, which kicked off the "Angry" sensation and it never left my turntable since. Brill! Well, to be honest it did take a while, a dozen spins or so, but then I was hooked c

More importantly, "Angry" has found its provisional position in my personal Top50 Stones-45s (UK releases only) at #23. To add a bit of context: #22 is "One Hit (To The Body)" while "No Spare Parts" follows at #24. Not exactly pole position then but very good, indeed. Looking forward now to "Sweet Sounds Of Heaven" despite of the Gaga woman guesting. Tryin&

QuoteDoc Looking forward to getting a "B-side" this time and not just a 1-track-single. Using the japanese bonus track is the most obvious option, or maybe a live track, but not again an etched B-side... Wholeheartedly agreed!

The Rolling Stones. Always. Like on all of their sixties records. "The Rolling Stones" (their 1st LP), followed by "The Rolling Stones No.2" (their 2nd LP)... When the article "The" gets dropped, something is definitely missing. An integral part of the band identity. As a fan of sixty+ years I don't like that. At all. Then again, there may be more importan

Great album, of course. I keep comin' back to it regularly and more often than to some others, including "Bridges" which may be more coherent but on average "Bang" has got the better tunes. Why Fallon of all people? He's a TV clown and a phoney. For cheap laughs? Why not someone real like Pete Townshend who's both a fan and a friend? Or a writer/journalist in the know like David Fricke or Nick Kent?

Bieber, Britney, Miley, Elton, Dua Lipa, Sheeran, Vedder, Iggy, Ozzy, Maroon 5... and now the Stones? Watt!? Can't help being slightly sceptical. A new sensation when it comes to the Stones who have never disappointed me in 60 years. Okay, there has been the odd track I could have done without (rarely!) but I truly appreciated every single and every LP when they were first released, from
