I much prefer Talk Is Cheap and Main Offender. These are great album imo. Overall, it's a good album, but it's too long and some of the tracks don't really work for me.

Don Was was right! This track could have been the first single from the album at the time and probably would have been "a hit". We were happy to release it after almost 50 years, but it was a crime to keep it locked away in the archives for so long! After 5 years i still love this song...and maybe more! What a groove, vocals, melodies...and that great fuc### funky/reggae riff by Kei

I think it would have been better to end the album with the wonderful How Can I Stop, without Thief in the Night. Ending the album with two slow tracks was unnecessary and, in my opinion, it would have been perfect to end it with the fast/slow combination of Too Tight/How Can I Stop.

QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteHardRiffin I still can't explain why no member of the band said anything about the reissue of this album. No interviews with the press, no TV appearances. B&B may not be as important as Exile, but it's still a great album that is much loved by their fans. It seemed to me that they devoted much less time and effort to it than to the other reissues. That

QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteJalfstra When they released the other deluxe editions (Tattoo You, Some Girls, Exile etc) disc 2 was the one I had on repeat for weeks. All those great new songs, I was thrilled.. But with Black and Blue Deluxe it's the other way around. I'm re-discovering B&B and I really love the new mix. But the new songs/jams.. I really like Shame Shame Shame, but like &

QuoteMathijs I still find B2B a fantastic album, and it aged really well, unlike a Bigger Bang. I find 'How Can I Stop' Keith's best ever ballad, it's just utterly fantastic. Mathijs You're right Mathijs! A really enjoyable album. This is my BTB Revisited: 1."Flip the Switch" 2."Anybody Seen My Baby?" 3."Low Down" 4."

Quoteekelundh Jeremy’s youtube channel offers detailed work of Rolling Stones guitar tracks in a well done way; not only official studio versions but also live versions and outtakes. Jeremy’s a great player. The body of work’s amazing covering all periods often with views of Keith, Brian, Ron, Mick T and Mick J guitars both simultaneously and separately (with or without backing track). You'

I would like to publicly thank mr Jeremy Bares for his wonderful YT channel with many videos in which he faithfully reproduces all the Stones' guitar parts, even from many outtakes. Yesterday he gave an interview to the Hang Fire podcast, which reveals his sincere and great love for the Stones: Thank you Jeremy, we really appreciate it! Enjoy "Respectable":

QuoteO2 Quotebv No need to speculate. The tour was getting well planned, much like the tour last year. Then they agree not to go on with it. Nobody is sick or hurt or unfriendly or whatever. It is a matter of getting more family life and less hotel life. I have been waiting for this «stop order» for years, especially when Ronnie and Mick got their new young children. And grandchildren for all of

I believe Andy Watt brought great enthusiasm and empathy to all the band members. He is certainly a very talented guy and everything he touches seems to succeed. However, as far as I'm concerned, I find the sound of the albums he produced flat and cold. Everything seems muffled and the instruments don't unleash their full power, especially the drums. It's a numb sound. Does any

What do you think about this BTB outtake called "High or Low"? I read here that Keef in 2001 recorded a version with Sheryl Crow.
