It makes sense as they will not be able to do a proper soundcheck the day that they are playing as the fest opens at 11am.

The New Orleans Jazz Fest has a special announcement later today. They never announce their lineup until January. They added an extra day for 2024. There is only one thing that it could be. They tried back in 2019 and 2021 to have the Stones play but neither year worked out. Is three times the charm?

Rainey Street is fine if you are young and don't care about music. I don't find it all that much different than Dirty 6th, just maybe a bit calmer. They have plenty of concessions like any other venue. The gates open at 5 giving everyone plenty of time to get there and park. I would imagine The Stones will not come on until 8:30 or so. Follow the specific directions to your parking lot. Don't just drive there and then try to figure it out when you arrive or it will take you much longer to park. Yeah I came to that same conclusion last week when it looked like there would be no shuttle so I rented a car although I rarely do when I visit Austin which is often (3rd time this year). I prefer to Uber, takes busses and use bikes and scooters to get around but have no desire to Uber to this show. Any advice on the best lot to use? I want to get out quickly to hit C-Boy's after the show to
