I fully agree, and the same could be done with V.L. As S.T.Erlewine wrote in his allmusic.com review : "a near-triumph of classicist rock, but since Voodoo Lounge came out in the CD age, it's padded out to 15 tracks, five of which could have been chopped to make the album much stronger".

The Kinks in 1964 or 1965 in a small town in Switzerland, Neuchâtel. With longish hair and a barrage of electricity and energy, they seemed to come from a different planet. I cannot remember if we had already heard of Swinging London, but we knew something was happening there.

If and when a new Rolling Stones album is eventually released, it would be an added treat if it could be adorned with an evocative and memorable cover, making it even more desirable. Post Tattoo You, Stones album covers have been generally bland and uninteresting. Of course, I'll buy it anyway.
