Quoteretired_dog It's a pity that Keith only started to release solo albums after he lost his voice. I could listen to the Toronto 1977 stuff endlessly or We Had It All, Run Rudolph Run, The Harder They Come and the like, not to speak of You Got The Silver, Happy, Coming Down Again, Before They Make Me Run and whatever, but have a hard time playing his solo albums from start to finish just b

QuoteMisterDDDD A quick google doesn't come up with a Stones cover of it. Here is a dude wearing a Stones shirt playing along with a Who version though James James is a huge Stones fan. He pretty much nails the Stones songs he covers.

My point is that many of these 'charity' concerts and whatnot end of wasting more money than necessary. I honestly hope that is not the case with this but call me skeptical. That is why I suggest to give locally. Go give some blood. Take some food to an elderly neighbour. Buy some masks and hand out to strangers.

'Net proceeds go to charity.' Therein lies the problem. How much will go to 'admin' first??? As usual, way too much. Give locally.

QuoteDandelionPowderman Thanks, bye bye johnny! Interesting. Jordan? May be his buddy Steve Crotty. I think he sometimes lives or visits in the other house on Keith's property in Weston. I could be wrong.

Keith looks happy! I'd look happy too if I'd just dodged a possible life sentence. Thanks to the blind angel and a forgiving judge!

Quotecrholmstrom QuoteTestify When I listen to the Stones live today, I don't expect the performance of life, because these guys are all over 70 and it would be stupid to expect it. I only expect them to be able to give me emotions and they still manage to. Mick is still in great shape, Charlie is always him, Ronnie today who is sober sounds much better than on some tours of the late 90s and

Still might be a long wait. (Hi, Gazza!) Keith's in CT...doubt he'll be flying to T&C anytime soon...they can do mini-show together though

Creem was my rock n roll bible during the 70s. I saved every issue that even mentioned the Stones. Thinking back, it was a fun mag to read.

I was just listening to this song. I have always loved it, a great tune I believe. Anyway, as my mind wondered off I thought: 1962-2062 will be 100 years for the band. There may be some of us here (in their 20s, 30s, even 40s...maybe early 50s) who WILL BE AROUND for the 100th Anniversary!! I thought, how cool would that be? Some of us (not me) will be able to tell their kids and grand k

Quotelem motlow The only way I would give a “ shout out “ to that Poser is if he gave away every single dollar of his ill gotten gains from the blight his pop rock crap created on the rock and roll landscape and then committed hari kiri Shortly there afterwards. Jeeze....who pissed in your morning coffee? I don’t care about his music but the man is doing good work.

Quotejohn lomax Almost got Charlie's drumstick at the Enmore Theatre in 2003. He threw it and it was heading straight for me. At that exact moment my wife started to faint from heat exhaustion. I had to make a.split second decision - do I catch her or do I let her fall and catch the stick. I chose to catch her..... Difficult but wise decision
