So I’m working on it."

Lat's not forget that Mick and Keith asked Charlie to choose a new bass player. Both set up the 'engine room' as they say. Of course, Charlie was hesitant about this but Mick + Keith wanted him to make that choice. So Darryl quite naturally fits in with Charlie! They play well together, IMHO.

Hi there, folks, very sorry, if that has been discussed before: A friend, David, forwarded me a mail he received from Ticketmaster concerning his tickets for Atanta (7/9/2020). In that mail, it is said that Quoteyour upcoming event has been postponed: THE ROLLING STONES Mar 23, 2022 8:00 pm WOAH! That would be their 60th anniversary of playing live ... David mentioned, t

Quotefilstan In 1990 I bought The Swingin Pig 3 CD box set boot when I was in Munich at WOM for 79 DM. Those CD's sound very good to my ears today. Hopefully, they get the audio right on this video release. Yup, same here - but had the vinyl first... I love that show, can't wait for the pro video!

I hope they don't mix the audience down. One of the things I like most about that show is that you have the reaction of the audience so clear and near to the ear ... (hehehe) ... all of that excitement you can hear is really nice. And BTW: Whoever can point me to some video where you can see how to play Eric Clapton's 2 absolutely brilliant solos during LITTLE RED ROOSTER wou

QuotePaddy Is this the gig with Izzy & Axl from GNR? Yes and with Eric C. and John Lee Hooker - I always thought that legal/rights problems slowed down the release of this Stones gem - like not only the Stones but also the other artists and their managements had to have their say. I really hope it's just uncut and not too much edited or overdubbed. Because I will immediately hear

Keith looks bored singing backup in the video w/hands in pocket though...sort of detached from it all....maybe this is one of the tunes he didn't like much which contributed to delays... if so, o

QuoteDandelionPowderman Quoterebelhipi I think Charlie used some app where your hand movements are the drums. Right side = cymbal. center = snare ect. Electronic drum sticks. ... don't think so - Charlie's sticks were just normal drumstiks, no cables attached. Rather, I think, it was a video-computer solution: as the sticks move to some position in the picture-frame, a co

I think you can't mess with Gilmore here - he's on a complete different plane. I LOVE his playing and his Strat sound! And I keep playing those albums, from Obscured By Clouds on, even Ummaguma ... But a guitar solo is not what I really xpect from my beloved band on this scale, to be honest. Mick T. and Ronnie (especially during the last tours as he's getting better - listen

Oh my - I just love vituosity! John McLaughlin, Trilok Gurtu, Kay Eckhardt I tried to set the video forward to position 4:24 although the first 4 minutes are truly nice, too, but somehow I could not handle it here. So play forward if you will ... Anyways - true music, true vituosity, true happiness!

Big, friendly letters: DON'T PANIC! Really, I don't think there's reason for hysteria. About 20.000 (!) people die from the flue every year in Germany alone - and noone panics. 95% of all the Corona cases only experience conditions like having a cold or a light flu. But if you're already ill and weak, or really old, or both, then there IS a chance to die from COVID

Well, a free tour or gig of the Stones - what would we expect? A high class show like the late tours we have seen? Or just a club gig with only some amps, 12 lights and 150 people? Well, I'ld take any of these of course, as well as you would I bet. But then, it really comes down to the band wanting it and us ... well ...we would run anywhere they play by the tousands and that rea

Very sorry if that's been discussed before, but as I was watching Star Star Live from Texas 1978 again, I again stumbled upon that white thing dangling from (excuse me) Mick's a*se. I can provide a pic if you will... As his mike is cabled, that's no way any wireless sender there; it rather looks like his trousers are damaged and some white cloth hangs out ... ?
