Ashcroft is brilliant live - just go their with an open mind and enjoy him. I'm hoping he's doing an acoustic set. One of the best live voices I've heard.

Quotebv I have been at home for 12h washing my cloths and then having a couple of business meeting it feels wrong to be out of the tour so luckily I am now on a complicated travel back to Manchester through Bergen. Then I will check out places to meet in the city. Suggestions welcome please. Cheap beer, good food, central city location and space is all we need. I can recommend Cask Bar on Liver

What's the availability been like for the t shirts on the merchandise stands? Last year in Dusseldorf there were hardly any left (admittedly we got in only about half an hour before the band came on stage). Are they selling them on a stand outside the stadiums as well or only inside? Thanks.

They're doing some serious promotion now for this tour. - Radio adverts - TV adverts - Massive banners near each venue (big print over hotel football by Old Trafford yesterday). Are number of tickets sold a lot lower than we think?

Quotegrzegorz67 Quotescoreboardpaddock It wouldn't surprise me if Johnny Marr does Manchester. New album out soon. He was 3rd top of the Bill when the Who did BST in Hyde Park 3 years ago (with several groups of IORRians present!). I thought he was excellent. Hopefully that will be a recurring them for the 9 British Isles shows : a high profile local act to increase local interest. I think

Quotesyrel Is anyone else wondering whether the 2nd Manchester show may actually not happen? When it was on the rumoured list I thought it was a gimme, but the longer this goes on the less confident I am. The fact that the band's twitter feed sent out a message specifically about Manchester last night makes me wonder if it's not selling as well as expected (of course, it could just be t

What's the craic with lucky dip tickets, can you get them in pairs? Sounds a daft question - and I'm probably going mad - but I'm sure I read somewhere that you can be allocated different locations in the stadium. Is that right?

It would feel very strange to walk in on the pitch at OT and watch and hear my favourite band perform at nme ground... Please let them play at City of Manchester Stadium (Etihad) instead, the PSG sh

Quoteycagwywpmd QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteMonsoon Ragoon Why should they play festivals? They get much more bucks for own shows I guess, compared with appearances at festivals that are sold out before they get booked. 2013 was different as there wasn't a real UK tour. I think they get what they want from festivals as well. It was rumoured they lost money at Glastonbury as they altered

QuoteNate Quotescoreboardpaddock I think they should do Blackpool considering it'd be exactly 10 years since there ban from the town was lifted! There's no venue there for a big gig but a nice warm up show would be good Removing your limbs with a hacksaw would be a more enjoyable experience than spending a day in Blackpool. Nate You must be proper boring then.
