A slow, slow burner this one, especially side 1 tracks like Summer Romance and Send it To Me. Let Me Go, She's So Cold, All About You have always been classics. The album does have a great sound which makes it so great even when listening in the car.

Quoteryanpow QuoteErik_Snow I understand that Jagger doesn't want this released; but - he's way wrong; Maybe he's just embarrassed about the tights he wore for the last part of the show They are hilarious. Been watching non stop since finding a few days ago. Great era for the band, what a version of Street Fighting Man

First heard some of them on the singles collection, what a discovery. Brian Jones preferred Child of the Moon to it's little known A side.

QuoteSnoopy First off, I can't help but want to quote all of you and agree "yep, yes, you're sure right about that, oh yeah helluva tune," but I'll just quote resotele for now: "so : one song ? No. but the riffs, the energy, the SEX..." How about the first time any of you heard Stray Cat Blues? When the piano comes in, and the guitar really gets nasty for a m

Beggars Banquet was my first stones album in '87 and Stray Cat Blus the track. Couldn't get enough after that.

I've got my own top 30 on any given day, and half of those would probably not be on other fans top 30... ...btw i'd probably need an additional list to cover a couple of dozen essentials beside these!! Doxa, very thought provocking and makes a lot of sense. I got into the stones around Talk Is Cheap and believed every word especially the rolling stone piece.

Hadn't heard any of the Some Girls bonus songs and absolutely loved it. Just pips Exile. Only minor gripe is the redone vocals.

The opposite of A Bigger Bang in that Keith songs are the best. Overall an enjoyable album that gets played often, their best since Undercover and a great tour behind it.

Good enough effort, liked it a lot at first. Coming, Laugh and Let Me Down the standouts. The 2 Keith songs are way down on How Can I Stop though.

Quotesnorton Could this have been in the correct time frame for to Dirty work? He looks much better than he did during the ARMS benefits of 1983. Seems pretty out of it, that's what a couple of days jammin with Keith and Ronnie does to a man.

Quotestone4ever This was great Spikenyc, haven't seen this for years , had it on VHS many moons ago. It's always interesting to see how Keith works with other guitarists, Keith With Waddy was a great combination, better than with wood imho. Had the Stones not got back together i often wonder what sort of career Keith might have forged long term with the Wino's. It could have bee

Watching this prompted me to play the album, sounding as fresh as ever 30 years on. Keith was obviously having a great time after all the hassles with Mick and the video clearly shows he's loving it.

QuoteRedhotcarpet If you want underrated 1980 stones try Too Much Blood. I like it. I have great memories of a summer with the Rewind video on constant replay in the background. Yeah, Video Remind really did it for me, those cheesy undercover ones very funny.

A real downer to end the album, worst thing on there. The album itself is quite fun if you're in the mood for stones lite, but this stinks the place out.

Stranded is the album for me, really hit their stride after Eno' s departure. Tin Machine's If There Is Something was great, their second album seriously underrated.
