QuoteRocknroll1969 The priority of the United States federal government should be to save lives. Trump is a jackass. He cares about the Dow Jones more then saving lives. The whole United State should be under lockdown.93 percent of America is in lockdown. And he may have his faults but he is hardly a jackass. He is coordinating quite well the federal government’s response to the virus.Does it bothe

Most viruses seem to come from humans eating animals ,HIV, Swine Flu, , Ebola,SARS, Mers, probably Coronavirus .Maybe we should become vegans or at least only fish. I would like to try impossible burgers , but they have too much salt. And certainly your government has to have stringent regulations to prevent people eating infected animals. We at least in America have these requirements to insure p

Although no country can be totally prepared, in November 2019 ,the John Hopkins Center for Health Security said the United States of America was the best prepared of any nation in the world to fight a pandemic. When a nation has to fight a new virus like the Coronavirus, that spreads from one person to another at a speed never before seen, and there is no vaccine or antivirals for it, no amount of

Not true.China did not give the gene sequence to the rest of the world until January 13 .The world knew there was a virus but not its contagiousness.China in December muzzled the brave Chinese doctors from telling the world what they knew. Moreover the defense of China is specious. They didn’t tell the world it could be transferred from person to person until the end of January.China then kicked ou

Since the infection and death rate in Western Europe and Uk is as bad as the United States none of the “ lack of preparedness “ was unique to the United States.May e the fact this was a new virus with no vaccine which is unprecedented in its contagiousness and China withholding necessary information about it was the reason for the pandemics deadly spread

Maybe the short term solution to the economic devastation the virus has inflicted on the world economy is to get as many people tested for antibodies. If someone by this test is shown to have the antibody ,they could go back to work assuming they can’t catch the virus again. This would also apply to all the people who never showed signs of the illness.

QuoteDGA35 In Canada, I think the federal and provincial governments have done a decent job. Not sure about other countries right now, but in BC we get daily updates from the federal and provincial governments. Everyone is supposed to stay home unless absolutely necessary. In Canada as of today, there have been officially 9005 people who have contracted the virus, 105 have passed and 1253 have

Always loved the 1975 Tour of the America’s, but I don’t think the LA video is the best show on the tour.Like the 1972 tour, its a shame there aren’t other complete concerts that were filmed and are in circulation.Years ago there was a Honky Tonk Women performance from Chicago and the Geraldo Rivera show clips, but I’ve never seen any other performance.I wonder if like the 1972 tour, there are filme

Talking about his career with 6 songs (and Keith is there of course) and it's fascinating : Oh and the Stones are there too : "The Rolling Stones - Bridges to Babylon (1997) “I’m honored to be one of the few guitarists not in the Rolling Stones to have played on one of their records. Nico also says the Madison Square Garden July 25 1972 second show was filmed professionally in it's entirety except Rip This Joint and Bye Bye Johnny. It doesnt sound like it's the japanese video which is on you tube which is crappy . That was maybe the best show of the tour. But it was silent. Maybe it still exists and the sound could be dubbed. Plus maybe there is additiona

Why were these rehearsals recorded. And why if the purpose of the rehearsals were to practice songs for the Texas filmings like Dead Flowers are there no recordings of them. Other than Gimme Shelter, there are no recordings from the DallaS Rehearsals of any songs they played on the 1972 tour. These are different from the Rotterdam 1973 and the 1978 rehearsals

Why would Jagger be playing guitar during rehearsals for future live shows on the tour when he was not playing any guitar on these shows.I read the whole purpose of the rehearsals was Keith thought the band played bad in Kansas City and wanted the band to play better on future gigs. Therefore I don’t believe Jagger is playing guitar
