Quoterlj1010 At least the vote can't be rigged this time. Back in 1997, during the early days of this new thing called the "world wide web", they did the song vote on the B2B tour. With 100% certainty, I rigged the vote and got them to play She's A Rainbow in Miami. Their vote site in 1997 was extremely primitive. I just keep refreshing and re-voting over and over agai

QuoteRocktiludrop Quotemicawber and a metronomelike robot without soul and swing on drums. And that mway way too loud! Rock'n'Roll died finally 24th of August 2021, with Charlie Watts - and woke. That's so embarrassing. HATE IT. And it's so deeply sad sad sad. But enjoy - on the level of mediocre TV shows at max - and much lower. And please don't stop to give all

Why people are bitching and complaining about this release is beyond me. We all knew it was coming for years; they weren't going to let this spectacle languish in the vault. Get it out of the way, and move on....

Quote The morning after a show, on off days, before the band boards a private charter to its next destination, Mr. Leavell starts working on the next concert’s set list. He checks his database to see what the Stones played on their last visit to a city, no matter how long it has been, and tries to work in some curveballs. The songs that fans vote on are all numbers the band has prepared in rehear

QuoteMKjan Quotekeefmick Mkjan is correct. Everyone knows that 19 is the perfect number of songs. 20 is one too many and 18 is one too few. To be sure, not everyone knows, as other posts in this thread attest, but 19 is still the best. Now is this scientifically proven? You're quite confident. In the past, did you walk out after 19 songs since that's "the best"?

QuoteWinning Ugly VXII Quotebv I don't understand those who complain about set lists without going to the show. It is like complaining about a beer - how it looks like - without tasking it. I guess it is the dream of another band. The Rolling Stones have been masters of repeating the same set list for every show, all the tours they have done, in the past the very same songs every night,

I'm puzzled why anyone who's not attending the show votes in the poll. Personally, I may voice my opinion but I would never vote for a show I'm not attending. Is the thought process "Oh sweet, I can watch it on YouTube"? Just not the same. I am attending this show; therefore, I voted for Rainbow. I will also partake in Metlife 2's vote.

I’ve always thought these votes have dubious legitimacy, so I’m hoping Mick enjoyed singing Mercy Mercy, as it’s really named, and therefore it will win.

QuoteRollingFreak Well so much for trying to keep the setlist completely spoiler free till my show. And that actually would have been a thrill to not know that was coming. Thank you. And before you say "well you shouldn't be on a Stones forum if you don't want it spoiler"... its been like a month and not a single thread title has had a song spoiler in it. I just assumed we

Based on last night, i’m guessing no Sweet Virginia for Philadelphia on Tuesday. Interesting to note, the city hasn’t heard the song in 47 years. I sincerely hope, but doubt, they look at previous setlists in the city. I’m willing to wager we hear Angie Nd Dead Flowers even though the latter was played there in 2013 and made it onto Honk. I’ll cross my fingers for the two MetLife shows.

I am so weary of the BS line that "99% of the crowd is new every night". There's no evidence to support this claim. It's the standard excuse to account for the stagnation of the setlist. The Keith set is fine, in my eyes, but let's stop with the propaganda we've been exposed to for years and years. I remember the same line about the show in Halifax in 2006.

Nice that Mr. D is still in the set; I feared for its safety. Sad for Play With Fire. It's three minutes. Keep it in. Mick will probably end up doing Wild Horses most of the remaining dates.
