Quotebitusa2012 With a great deal of despair I have had to pull the pin on my trip, with wife, to Vegas, Seattle and Vancouver in May, with Stones tickets having been bought for Vegas and Seattle (seats and Lucky Dip in Seattle, seats in Vegas). My wife needs to see specialists “sometime over next 2 months” according to her GP today. She is obviously far more important. I’m going to put the s

Quotehockenheim95 QuoteKerryann Opening bands is the reason we no longer buy pit tickets. Last time we found that standing in one spot for near on 5 hours was just too much for the hips and feet. Getting old is a real bastard! I always thought the special thing about pit tickets is that you can come very late and still have one of the best places in the stadium. That depends entirely on how

While I have seen some amazing openers for the Stones over the years, Stevie Wonder, J Geils Band, George Thorogood and the Destroyers, Buddy Guy, Red Hot Chili Peppers, to name a few, I’ve seen too many that were just mediocre or just not my taste. I’d pay extra for no opening act since I’ll be in the pit for hours.

I’ll be in the pit, so I won’t be able to meet up before the show, but I’d love to get together with folks after the concert. I am staying at the Tru by Hilton.

QuoteKerryann We'd be keen for a pre or post show catch up. I reckon Mandalay Bay would be the place to do it due to location, although a local or someone with more LV knowledge may be able to suggest somewhere better. It would be great to find a bar playing stones songs or blues. We're travelling over to Phoenix from New Zealand for our first show, then road tripping via GC and R66

Quotelikecats How much was a San Diego ticket, all in, but not including the $24.99 subscription? Didn’t look at the front row prices. Seats in the middle areas of the sections closest to the stage were in the 350-700 range. I got a seat on the very far right, section EEE, for $316.50, including fees. Seats way in the back were $107 I think.

While I wasn’t crazy about adding $24.99 to my ticket price, I did sign up for the one year subscription to the Archives. I just bought my ticket for one of the San Diego shows. Now I can sleep in on Friday morning

April 3, 1970 Steppenwolf at the old Civic Center in Philadelphia. I was 13 and my mother went with me. She embarrassed me by making me put cotton in my ears when we got to our seats. There were a lot of opening acts. The only one I remember was Steam. My second concert wasn’t until July 1972 at the Spectrum in Philly. The Rolling Stones!!! Stevie Wonder was the opening act.

Had some surgery recently, so I wasn’t at the gym for several weeks, but at the gym today I heard Angry. Then I stopped in the supermarket and heard Sympathy. I was pleased to hear both. I was wearing a Stones sweatshirt and some guy told me the Stones are his favorite band. It was a good day.

Bjornulf, what you have done with this site is nothing short of amazing. I visit it every day and have found it interesting, educational and extremely helpful for tour information. I can’t thank you enough. I wish you all the best for your retirement and hope you will still share your Stones wisdom with us in the next generation of this site. Gold rings on ya!

I enjoyed this interview, especially when he was asked about the statues of him and Keith in Dartford and Mick says he liked the statues because they showed them “in action” and not sitting on a horse! That’s very amusing!

For a modern, new stadium, SoFi is the absolute worst stadium design I’ve ever seen. Horrific to get out from the field. The rest of the stadium is not designed to allow large crowds to exit quickly. They didn’t even turn all the escalators to going up last time, so every escalator was a huge bottleneck. I hate this stadium. I’m going to both shows and I’ll be in the pit, but I will only go to So
