Quotetreaclefingers Quotelatebloomer QuoteNICOS QuoteMingSubu Is posting on other Stones forums allowed, or will that jeopardize your iorr membership? If it's a forum with rules it's allowed.....otherwise you maybe get bad habits............. Just be sure to wipe your feet at the door before you enter. Did not know Charlie had doubts after Hyde Park and Glast.... There are some nice photos of Charlie and Charlotte on the Australia tour pages, you all can find them yourselves...

QuoteMrThompsonWooft Quotebv There is not much to say at the moment regarding the 2016 plans of the Stones. I know they talk about recording a new album. That will probably happen as soon as the Keith Richards album is out. It is good P.R. to keep one activity only on the radar at the time. For August and September it is KEITH and his album. Then they have offers for things to do for the time

I would go one further and have Charlotte executive produce a documentary film about Charlie, his drawings, his drumming, jazz and the stones. So much of his life is about sight and sound. And I agree with BV. Charlie is too cool to write a book.

Well, I have more than two Stones albums but less than 200 if you count the bootlegs. I have more than two books on them but less than 100 but close. I've seen them almost every tour when I was either old enough or had enough money to go and could get there. I listen to them every day and I've never stopped liking them. So no matter how you measure loyalty I would say I am a l

Quotemailexile67 Georgelicks, in your opinion when they should start recording sessions, maybe in the fall after keith album?!? Where is BAM to refute these statements? I hope these rumors of a meeting/tour/album are true but there are far too many people on this board ready to recite the rules instead of discussing the band.

QuoteGasLightStreet Quotewith sssoul Hope this link works - here's a bunch of youtube clips of the Berlin Start Me Up: (Not being obsessed I haven't watched any of them. My vote goes to: It's Ronnie & Darryl playing as usual.) Nice! So Keith was not near hitting Mick with his guitar. From the first video it looks as if he missed Mick by inches. The perspective is what ca

Quotelittle queenie Quotejrcjohnny99 Quoteindystonesfan Agree with Olly on this one. locations like Reno, Calgary don't have the venues nor could charge the ticket prices needed to meet Stones guarantee. . As someone who lived in Reno in the 90s, there is an area there on the University of Nevada Campus that they could play....however, in 1999, the Stones played Sacramento (2 hours f

For those new readers of the board out there: It has been my experience in reading this board for over ten years that when BV puts up the rumored concert page for the next leg of a tour then you can pretty much count on these shows happening. Maybe the dates will change a little, sometimes a stadium gets swapped with another, etc. but except for a personal emergency of a band member you can sle

Agree with Olly on this one. If they come back to the States it'll be a focus on major markets and the Western cities. Perhaps even a stage change to smaller venue set-up and hit San Francisco, Seattle, Reno, Denver, Calgary, Vancouver, Edmonton, etc...

Maybe they will do a Great North or Arctic Circle type tour: Vancouver, Calgary, St. Petersburg Russia, Estonia, Finland, etc... I know my geography might not get up past the line but the idea is Northern Cities... Maybe the Northern Lights Tour 2016

Quotewhitem8 The Worst is one of Keith's best! Saves the album. Agreed. It really should be played live followed by Happy and Before they Make Me Run. Also think Jump On Top of Me needs to be played live. Reminds me of some of the more carefree cuts on Some Girls. Play it toward the middle before the show gets all serious with Shelter and Sympathy.

Just wanted to comment on SA rumors a bit. Having travelled in Brazil and Venezuela over several decades it makes sense to do multiple shows in the mega-cities and in stadiums for the following reasons: 1) cost for production and ticket economics 2) security (unlike Europe and NA security becomes problematic in SA for different reasons). 3) geography- the money is in the cities and the distance

Might have to sit this one out. Yeah I know its probably the last time but even though they are coming through my turf it is turning into a crazy spring of other problems and after some of the videos from SD/Petco this seems like its the same stuff and staging as Australia just mines Taylor. I've them play most of the Sticky Fingers songs live anyway-maybe not in order or as a group but ov

Quotekammpberg Do you agree to a certain extent, and if so any regrets, with the criticism that The Stones have become like a heritage touring act playing the oldies instead of continuing to be an innovative, creative and truly active artist - like Springsteen and U2. Are you serious? Just wondering. IMO, the Stones don't have to answer to anyone. Maybe they will release new songs but m

Quoteflilflam In 1994, my wife and I attended our first Stones concert at Ohio Stadium. A charter bus had been arranged by a rock station out of Charleston, WV to carry about 30 fans to the stadium and pick us up after the concert and take us back to where we were parked. The two DJ's, who were probably drunk, persuaded the bus driver to stop at a liquor store where most of us, including me

Uh, no. First, he is not a sideman. He has said before that Mick and Chuck organize a preliminary list because Mick has to sing them and his voice may not be up for certain songs on certain nights under certain conditions, etc. then Keith sees it, makes suggestions, changes, and signs off on the list. Second, Keith would like the world to think he's out of it and has no idea what'

QuoteJumpinJeppeFlash Jesus, why can people never understand they are doing it for the money and NOT the fans? They've been doing it for the money since 1962. That's why I love the Stones. If you don't pay you don't get to hear no more music. Always loved the way they didn't give a damn about fan letters, etc... By the way I never did get my poster and fan pack
