I've stayed at the same hotel as the Stones- when they are arriving/leaving nobody get's in or out. I was in the the lobby bar and security would not let you out into the lobby until they were gone.

Quotedaspyknows QuoteBeast Has no one learned the lesson from Boris and those of his colleagues so far affected by Covid-19? Today’s news footage shows both Trump and Putin standing or sitting right next to others. And also - shockingly - a Russian doctor in a church saying that it’s impossible to be infected in a church because churches are holy places! An attitude reminiscent of denials by S

QuoteWoz I saw Pearl Jam open for the Stones once here in the Bay Area and I thought they were awful..... I went to both shows where they opened- totally disagree, they rocked and I've been a big fan ever since (BTB Tour)

Quote5stringTele I saw him as an opening act in the late 1970s. The man got a ton of airplay back in the day. RIP. Too damn young. One ticket to Heaven. I saw him open for the Stones at the Oakland coliseum July 26, 1978. RIPP Eddie Money

QuoteDoxa Quotednewton99 My vids going up here from PIT 1.. Thank you! Haven't much checked the performances during this tour, but, as the reports and reviews say, the band seems to be in a great form. I watched "Get Off of My Cloud" and "Sad Sad Sad" and was surprised how good those versions were. Like poster above said the moment Mick going behind Charlie - and Cha

QuoteMisterDDDD Admitting up front that I am close to ignorant on the topic, but I have a hard time seeing in today's world how rehearsals impact the band tax wise/financially etc. I understand that it could affect them in terms of legal residence status, but also assume they travel on "working visas" that wouldn't affect the residence issues. Also believe that would primari

Quotebengigan QuoteWelshEdge1 Quotebengigan Even if we get dates today, the tickets won't be available. They need to give lead time for a new general on sale Why would they need to do that? The tickets are already on sale and the majority have been sold already. A good portion probably opted for a refund. What about lucky dip tickets? Say half the fans refunded, how will they sell t

QuoteHairball I've met Ronnie three times; He sat next to my brother and I at a Dylan show at the Santa Monica Civic 1979. The other two times were at his art show openings in Vegas. The first time in the Venetian Hotel Vegas '02 where I was able to talk with him one on one for a couple of minutes, while the second time at the Mandalay Hotel Vegas '05 was bit more chaotic and c

QuoteHairball Very nice, thanks bye bye johnny. But wait... as I was scrolling down checking out Patti's stylish outfit, something distracted me... Apologies if a rude observation, but did Keith pee-pee himself again? Interesting shoes he's wearing, and he looks quite happy! It is a patch...

QuoteHairball One of the best guitar players ever, but without the proper songs it can sound akin to new age jazzy elevator music as heard on some of the latter day post-Roger Waters Pink Floyd albums. The Endless River from 2014 which was made up of tunes cobbled together from post-Roger era leftovers is an example of this. That said, almost everything he recorded with Pink Floyd up until

His tone is his, he doesn't sound like a million other singers of rock. the prodcution is good; his songs have soundtracked effectively and all that. i don't know exactly; i think when they came out I sort of never 'got there' w them somehow. i know t

I won tickets from being the 3rd caller on a local FM station to see Journey at the Old Waldorf in San Francisco. I was a teenager in 1977 and a big Journey fan- they were local Bay Area band on the rise. The venue held like 500 - 600 people. The band comes on and out comes this dude all in white. It was the first time he performed with them and I hated their new "pop" sound. I'

Since they played a private show for one of Trump's billionaire friends (along with other private shows for rich folks), there's a possibility. Will it ever happen? Hard to say.
