The billboard setback was a major upset for us die-hard fanatics, but the Stones are not just making a tour announcement. Be prepared for media super-blitz. Performing on SNL. A week of Stones theme on Jimmy Fallon with at least a guest appearance by the Glimmers. Probably other late night shows and a few festival and small club appearances. Big promotions for Sticky Deluxe. Probably a new con

The Stones will somehow be worked into the Bonnaroo Fest - you'll see. And Bonnaroo doesn't need any big names to sell out. It's going to sell out before anyone confirms the Stones will be playing. And don't forget about the Cockroaches. I bet they aren't scheduled to play within a 300 mile radius.

I'm sure any clause would quickly get waived for the Stones. Maybe they won't announce that they'll be performing at Bonnaroo until that weekend. Worst case the Glimmers join Billy for a surprise... I'm thinking Keith will sing Captain Jack with Billy. Mick - it's just a fantasy

I'm still thinking the empty space between Orlando and Nashville will be Bonnaroo. The tour logistics and festival dates workout perfect. All you Chuck haters will catch a break when Billy Joel joins the Stones on stage for She's A Rainbow. One day tix go on sale in a couple days.

Nashville is only 60 miles away from the Bonnaroo festival and the rumored date for Tennessee is almost dead on for the fest. With the delay in tour announcements, I'm thinking its to work last minute details with the festival promoters at Bonnaroo, Milwaukee and perhaps a few other festivals. BTW, New Orleans Jazz Fest misses the tour schedule by only a couple of weeks. A warm-up gig at

I've always preferred to include the "live" albums in Stones favorites, because so many of t

We're all zeroing on show locations - and I'm still thinking Bonnaroo, but I'm also betting we'll see Mick and the boys actually doing some live performances to promote the tour and the deluxe Sticky reissue. Best bets would be Saturday night Live and probably Jimmy Fallon. I don't even want to think of this as a tour - it's a freakin' celebration!

It's been around 6 weeks since Bonnaroo has been discussed. Has anyone heard anything about the next announcement for additional performers for Bonnaroo? I can't accept that Billy Joel will remain the headlining act for this festival. With dates for Bonnaroo in mid June, and the Stones touring at this time, this may be the most realistic opportunity for them to play a fest in the USA
