QuoteAV83 Maybe I didn't make myself clear, I'm not comparing this to the whole Flashpoint album. What I'm saying is, there's a song in Flashpoint from this Atlantic City concert (Little Red Rooster). Aaaaand the version featured in Flashpoint has NO overdubs. All that I'm talking about is the way it is mixed and sounds. It's the same version, mixed differently.

Mick sounds distant and muffled, Keith isn’t prominent in the mix, those are some of the criticisms I hear about this mix. To that I would say..”what the hell are you guys listening to?”. You should seriously check your equipment because those aren’t accurate descriptions of this mix, this is not my opinion, it’s a fact.

Quotehockenheim95 Just compare it with Flashpoint or Live at the Max. Keith plays such beautiful licks on this song and here they are completely burried in the mix. You can barely hear them. Just Jagger and Chuck - nothing else... Keith is NOT buried in the mix in the Ruby Tuesday video, he can be heard very clearly....and why would you compare this video from Atlantic City to the version on Fl

Is there a general consensus on the best audio version of this show? CD, Blu-ray 2.0 audio or original download?

QuoteFather Ted Quoteexilestones I never found a perfect quality recording of the Stripped TV special. They weren't sharp picture quality. I bought every DVD there was and downloaded it every time I could. So, from what I read, the new Stripped documentary isn't an expanded old TV special and a lot of the material from the old special isn't in the new special. Do I have that cor

Quotetomcasagranda I wonder if Japan will do extra CDs. I doubt highly you'll get CD's of the complete Olympia, Brixton and Paradiso shows. However, I can just about guarantee that the Blu-ray's will have lossless PCM stereo audio tracks that will be very easy to rip, so the audio will be there, it'll just take a little work to get it .

Quotedcba Still it sounds very very nice... Doesn't sound any better than the official release...in fact it's worse with the vocals hard panned to one side. It's a mono recording, absolutely no reason to try and make it into something it's not.

Isn't the Falo version with the dubbed in stereo audio the very best one to get of Aux Abbatoirs? All the others fall very flat in the audio.

Post-Wyman-Tours have more interesting setlists than 1981/82, 1978 & 1989/90. And there´s a new kid on the block, he really can play the bass! QuotePhillyFAN I love Aretha Franklin. Her music, voice, and legend to American music is undeniable. However, it is another prime example of a black artist having no control of her music, voice, or image. Is she going to make any money on the use of her voice and image? I wonder. If there is money to be made will she get any of it? I would love to see this documentary but not at the price of

Quotekleermaker Quotemcp Thanks Chris. The SFTD edit was one I was struggling with - do I cut down the Granada footage, cut down the outtake footage, so I compromised. But for the next one, I think I will mix the two so that no audio is repeated, and replace the audience footage with the outtake footage. Did you notice that no titles appeared in this version? I zoomed for those parts, cutting ou

I downloaded this and flipped through it a bit, haven't had a chance to watch it all the way through yet, but from what I did see you did a great job on this, the way it should have been done structurally on the new official release! I'm sure in time someone will create a "version 6". In my opinion, the Japanese Blu-ray is by far the best print for the officially released vi

The print is much better on the Japanese Blu-ray, which I find odd. Combine the video from the Japanese Blu-ray with the audio from the new vault release, which is a major upgrade, and you would have the ultimate version of Hyde Park '69.

QuoteMrEcho Man, they have to release the audio of the whole gig on the CD, but I'm not too optimistic. The whole gig (with complete intro/outro and all the onstage talk by Mick Jagger) does not fit on one CD and the listings for the new vault release only mention DVD/BR plus one CD. So I guess the CD will just be the actual soundtrack of the film, but I still hope they've edited out so
