I got a dvd bootleg from the first Knebworth show and it is a killer. I got dvd/cd bootlegs from Earls Court, May 23, 24 and 25. The only songs that are really thrilling me are Tangerine and Heatbreaker and Communication Breakdown/Dyer Mker from May 25. I think Page will not release a full show or a best of several shows, because he thinks that nobody needs another 30 Minutes version of Dazed an

Quotedjango QuoteRollingFreak Funny, cause the "band" that plays on most of the tracks on Hackneyed sounds so generic I'd be hard pressed to know its actually the Stones. Without Mick's vocals, there's nothing distinctively Stones about it, and I'd have welcomed experimenting with more modern music recording to see if it would make any better of an album. I totally

More than words. 3 very different guitars concerning the price. But they sound very similar to me.

I know a guy who is building pickups. If you bring him your guitar and tell him how you want to sound the guitar with his new pickups, he will be spooling the pickups exactly in the way to create the sound you want. And it works.

QuoteMathijs Just about all guitars they played from 1968 on have resurfaced one way or another -at the Hardrock, with collectors, in the collection of the Stones. The main guitars missing are Keith's 1969 Dan Armstrong and Ron Wood's 1972/1973 Metal Top Zemaitis stolen on the Bahama's in 1977. Keith's 5-string Pirate Zemaitis guitar was destroyed in the LA rental house fire i

Do you know what happened to the white Music Man Silhouette that Keith played from 1988 to 1990? Because in 1992/93 he played a black one?

Branded by Gibson initially as “Min-ETune” and then as “G FORCE,” the Powertune system is designed to automatically tune strings via a servo motor within each machine head. It made its Gibson debut in 2007, but only in 2015 did it become a standard component in the company’s guitars. QuoteRockingLonestar Gibson offered something similar a couple of years ago. Gibson offered something similar a couple of years ago. So called robot tuning system. It is a machine that tunes every string the way you tell the machine, so you can store differnd tunings and you can change tunings by pushing just one button.

CDs sound great on my stereo. Maybe some guys are talking about what they hear when listening to the music as mp3 on their smart phone ;-) Performance is great. Like this one as much as El Mocambo... ...and much more than Olympia 2003.

QuoteDandelionPowderman Brixton 1995? They hadn't played it live since 1990, and delivered a very rusty version. But bad? Nope, not bad before the Brixton gig, it was played in 1995 in Mexico, Brasil, Argentina, Australia and in Paris/Olympia ;-)

At least there are two shows in Toronto in 1977 and two shows in Oshawa in 1979. Do we count the warm up gigs in 1981/1982/1997? I just wondered how many gigs Ronnie played with the boys. I guess it must have been more than 1000 since 1976. Gig number 1000 must have been in 2017 I guess. What do you think?

I bought a PRS Pauls Guitar, the SE version, last year fo about 850 EURO, which is almost the same as for my Fender Stratocaster Lonestar, the USA version. For me the PRS is the most versatile guitar I know. Normally i don´t like coil splitting, because mostly there is one good sound and one so and so sound. But the coil splitting on the PRS is absolutely killer. The single coil option sung re

New release as BR/CD or DVD/LPs. I always thought they were on fire on "One More From The Road". But they are even more powerful on this one. Good quality concerning the BR. Love the pictures of the audience.
