CDs sound great on my stereo. Maybe some guys are talking about what they hear when listening to the music as mp3 on their smart phone ;-) Performance is great. Like this one as much as El Mocambo... ...and much more than Olympia 2003.

Fantastic version. But I like the version from Hampton 1981 a little bit more.

QuoteDandelionPowderman Brixton 1995? They hadn't played it live since 1990, and delivered a very rusty version. But bad? Nope, not bad before the Brixton gig, it was played in 1995 in Mexico, Brasil, Argentina, Australia and in Paris/Olympia ;-)

At least there are two shows in Toronto in 1977 and two shows in Oshawa in 1979. Do we count the warm up gigs in 1981/1982/1997? QuoteGasLightStreet 1975 - 46 1976 - 43 1978 - 25 1981 - 50 1982 - 32 That's 196 shows. 1989-90 - 115 1994-95 - 129 1996-97 - 108 1999 - 43 That's 395 shows. 2002-03 - 117 2005-2007 - 147 That's 264 for a total of 856 shows.

I just wondered how many gigs Ronnie played with the boys. I guess it must have been more than 1000 since 1976. Gig number 1000 must have been in 2017 I guess. What do you think?

I bought a PRS Pauls Guitar, the SE version, last year fo about 850 EURO, which is almost the same as for my Fender Stratocaster Lonestar, the USA version. For me the PRS is the most versatile guitar I know. Normally i donĀ“t like coil splitting, because mostly there is one good sound and one so and so sound. But the coil splitting on the PRS is absolutely killer. The single coil option sung re

Quotesaltoftheearth Van Morrison - Montreux 1990: the concert of the century!! (I have seen him about ten times, and he was always great but this concert was the classic). It is available in perfect quality on a bootleg and on YouTube but the video which was shot there is still unreleased Mumford and Sons - Paris, Theatre Trianon: an intimate concert, they were world-class Bob Dylan (&

Quote24FPS My local library called to tell me they have the Goats Head Soup deluxe set for me to borrow. I very much want to hear the Blu Ray CD version of GHS. I want to see if it's even better than the SHM CD of the new remix. Plus I'd like to hear the Brussels CD and see if it sounds better than the streaming download I have. To my ears the Brussel live tracks sound identical t

New release as BR/CD or DVD/LPs. I always thought they were on fire on "One More From The Road". But they are even more powerful on this one. Good quality concerning the BR. Love the pictures of the audience.

A friend gave me a compact disk he recorded for me of the vinyl of "Nasty Music" (Live in Brussel 1973 and 4 Songs from New York City 1972). Although I had YaYas at the time, this one really blew me away. Must be in 1974. So I was 12 years old and the world changed forever.

The pickups on the Slick guitars are Slick pickups, designed by Earl Slick, former guitar player of David Bowie, John Lennon, Ian Hunter etc. In the US you can order them via WWW.GUITARFETISH.COM I prefer the Old School Humbucker set, which cost about US $ 80,00. Obviously player technique is of utmost importance i.e. you have to know how to play in open G tuning, the chords have to be properly formed and strumming technique and timing are crucial. It goes without saying that you nee

I have two cheap Telecaster-Style guitars from slick guitars (a sl 50 and a sl 51, each costs about EURO 300,00)). And if I want them to sound Keith-like, they do. No matter what amp I use (Laney, Fender, Marshall, Vox). Euipment is important. But the player is so much more important. And I am only talking about sound, not other abilities.
