I saw this same Farewell Tour literally 4 years ago in what was to be their last visit to Columbus. Now, they're coming back to Columbus in May for a Festival.

I wish I could've seen the Zoo TV Tour!! However, I was only 10-11 during that time, and at the time U2 were just one of the bands my parents owned a few of their CDs. My first concert ever was U2's Popmart Tour in 1997, and my 2nd concert was The Rolling Stones Cleveland 1999. I have my parents to thank for my first 2 concerts being so awesome.

Quotecrawdaddy Is there an isolation period in The Netherlands? Even if he is positive now, he can test every day in isolation probably............ and as soon he gets a negative result and he feels OK he should be covid free. All depends on how he feels after the testing negative. He's obviously got a strong body and mind and he will love to get back as soon as possible. This is

QuoteGJV I was very late driving my car to Amsterdam (at eight o'clock) and only when we were 4km from The Arena we saw a sign over the speedway which read: "Rolling Stones Arena Cancelled". Quickly we listened to the radio, where the news just began and we heard it was true. So we just turned the car and went home and hoping Mick will be ok. Immediately I thought about all the

QuoteStonesfan2146 Following their recent tour pattern it will be Europe in summer, Nov/Dec will bring them to South America and then they will likely want to do Australia/Japan again at some point. No US shows to happen anytime soon, that's my guess. I know they did add some US shows after their South America shows in 1998 and 2006, but those were different times. They could definitel

Supposedly Kanye will be playing stadium shows in Australia in March, provided he is fully vaccinated. This seems to go against everything happening in Austrlaia right now. Aren't there capacity restrictions, closed borders, quarantine times, etc? Nothing is announced yet, but this article makes it seem like it's certain that he will play Melbourne's Marvel Stadium on March 12

Luckily his symptoms are mild, and hopefully it stays that way!! In order for this tour to go on, hopefully he has backup musicians on hand. Obviously the show cannot go on without Elton, but I don't think the whole operation should grind to a halt if one of the backup singers tests positive. We've reach a point in the pandemic where constant testing is no longer necessary, and p

Quotedaspyknows Rod Stewart cancels Australia tour. KISS and Kings of Leon also have tour dates book in Australia for March and April. I remember when KISS postponed, they said "Let's get these vaccination numbers up and then we'll come rock you guys in March" or something to that effect. Australia has 90% vaccination rates, and is still locked the @#$%& down. Goo

The problem is that in order to book a summer stadium tour, tickets would have to go on sale by February or March, while capacity restrictions are still in place. And you have to assume that every country visited will be able to guarantee that the band and their entire crew can enter and do their job, let 50,000 plus into a stadium, etc. I think Europe would be crazy to let a 3rd summer go

If Canada is in play by summertime, then you could easily work out a tour leg using Canada and the US shows that were cancelled last year. 1. Vancouver 2. Edmonton 3. Regina 4. Winnipeg 5. Toronto 6. Ottawa 7. Montreal 8. Moncton 9. Buffalo 10. Cleveland 11. Louisville 12. San Diego Throw in a couple others, and there ya go.

I just don’t see any way the stones will tour mainland Europe. Springsteen just NOPED out of his 2022 European tour. MAYBE a handful of shows in the UK. But places like Germany, Italy, Netherlands etc? I just can’t see that happening at all. I’d say do a leg in North America and then some in the UK, as that’s probably their only option. But I doubt Canada will be open for business either, a

People on this board said I was nuts for suggesting there would be no large concerts in Europe this year. It’s already starting. Other acts like Coldplay, GnR and Ed Sheehan will postpone their tours as well. Festivals will be cancelled. We’re actually in a worse spot overall than we were last year. At least last year we had lower numbers and the promise that the vaccine would make things be

Bruce Springsteen's summer stadium tour of Europe is rumored to be postponed until 2023. It was supposed to be announced at the end of November and go onsale in December. Other acts like Guns'n'Roses, Coldplay and Ed Sheeran have stadium tours already booked with sold out dates all over Europe. Pretty unlikely those will go ahead as well. Like I said earlier, anything out

I am the furthest thing from a scientist, and I don't claim to be anything close to an expert. It seems like as far as Covid is concerned, even though cases are through the roof, there is a lot to be excited about in 2022. However, I am a fairly successful business man,

The Virus itself is only part of the equation now. There is now an entire industry built around Covid, and it's a thriving industry with too much forward momentum to just STOP. Too many influential people are making too much money. Covid will eventually be allowed to be classified as "endemic", as long as they figure out a way to continue to make money from it, or have somethin

No chance the pandemic ends in 2022. I fully expect there to be another variant of concern at this time next year, with various places going back into various levels of restriction. There is literally zero reason to be optimistic about this. 2022 is going to be a frustrating year of 3 steps forward and 2 steps back.

Mayor of NYC said he doesn't want to cancel events, because of the city's high vaccination rate. He encouraged people to wear masks at tonight's Billy Joel concert at MSG, and all other events. I think that's 100% the correct course of action to take. Require vaccination, recommend masks, and let the events continue as planned.

Quotetreaclefingers The Stones timing was amazing...somehow they squeezed into a window of opportunity this fall. There's no way they'd be playing now. I doubt capacity limitations are coming back to the US, that horse is out of the barn. Mask mandates and vaccine mandates are the only tools the US will use anymore. I am fully vaccinated, and therefore I consider myself free to liv
