I don't mind Mick/Keef/Ronnie doing shows and playing Stones songs, but they need to change the name of the band. With Charlie's passing, it's over. The Rolling Stones are dead. There is no one who can play like Charlie. His sound is unique. Even if there was a reasonable copy, it's like buying a fake Rolex and trying to impress your friends with it. It's over. No

And where is it? It is a pretty iconic piece of history, imo.

I'm still hopeful that Seattle will get a gig, but May 27 doesn't look too good. The soccer team is playing CenturyLink Field on that day, but Safeco Field will be available. However, the Mariners play there on May 28, and I'm not sure if the team want a huge stadium setup (stage and fans) damaging their turf the day before. It might take more than a day to fix it, if the Stones pl

QuoteKeefySorry about Seattle not looking good. Yeah, it is looking bleak. I actually live in Portland, but with stadiums being the norm this time around, I was hoping for Seattle or, at worst, Vancouver BC. It is nice to see some markets that have been ignored in recent years being represented. That is very cool. Yet I would be surprised if San Diego was the only CA show (and far west coast

QuoteKeefy Yeah WHAT HAPPENED TO TEXAS??? Not Cool...WE NEED A SHOW!!! From the Twitter feed #SatisfactionThursday it looks like someone saw a billboard in Dallas. I'm still hoping that there will be a sighting in Seattle, although I'm starting to lose hope.

Man, Thursday seems a long way away. Let's see more billboard pics!

Yeah, if anyone sees a Billboard in the Seattle area, take a pic, so I can ease my mind. The suspense, or maybe the worrying, is unsettling. I'd love to see the band near my home in Portland, but I'm guessing that is an extreme longshot.

The Stones have been etched in my blood stream since 1981, when I was eight. Some kids were raised on Sesame Street, but I was raised on Exile on Main Street. The best times that I had were going to shows in the '90s with my sister, who was in high school. The trips with her were as fun as the shows. I was a heavy tape trader back in the day (remember Maxell XL-IIs?) and met a lot of coo

I still hope that they come to the Northwest. An arena show in Portland would be great, but I'm assuming that they will probably play the football stadium in Seattle, if they do play this region. Anyone know if they will still have something akin to the $85 mystery tickets available through their website like in the past?
