Quotedrbryant QuoteTopi On Facebook, someone pointed out that the Boston hotel prices being up on certain weekends may also be because of college graduations in May. But still, just for example, take a look at hotel Renaissance Patriot Place in Foxborough, MA on the weekend of May 10 to May 12. You're looking at 1,340 USD (!!!) - non-refundable - a night, whereas the weekend before it

As a kid in high school when they were hot, mid to late 70s, they were a shite load of fun! Not a thinking man's band, but sometimes that's ok. They were fun, they were loud, and they were different! When all you heard on the radio was Hall and Oates and some of the other laid back groups, you just needed to let it all hang out and have fun without thinking about it.

Did anyone see them in NC, November 1965? I believed they played Raleigh, Charlotte, and Greensboro. Here is an article on the first show in Raleigh. Cheers

I remember them being a little stand offish but otherwise, fun days. Other bands that I think were better and deserved more recognition would be: Snatches of Pink, Let's Active, Dexter Romweber (and sis Sarah), Fabulous Knobs,

I was a huge Kiss concert fan in the 70s. I went to nearly every concert in NC during those years. I never bought the albums as that was left up to my best mate, but we hit every damn show possible. I still have vivid memories of a show at Dorton Arena, Raleigh. Some wild-eyed frizzy haired hippie got up on his friend's shoulders during the song when Gene spits fire. He took a swig of lighte

I have often wondered as well. I read something long time ago where Charlie mentioned that he spend a day wandering around Gettysburg. I would love to know more about his interest in this and his collection.

Today marks my first ever Stones concert. What a great ride it's been since. My mom dropped me and my cousin off in the parking lot where we waited anxiously until the gates opened. I seem to remember a mad rush and part of the fence collapsing, then the mad rush into the coliseum. Didn't even get my ticket ripped, we just hopped over the turnstile and ran for the floor. Ended up just t

No, once Charles Robert Watts retires, the Stones retire. Who would fill his shoes? Steve Jordan probably and I like Steve but I just don't think he could ever take Charlie's place....and IF that ever happened, I would never go see them again. Charlie is the heart of the band and he's main engine. Nah, no Charlie therefore no Stones.

QuoteToru A QuoteStonedAsia Typhoon rains recently in Saigon. Horrible, actually. Puts a damper (no pun intended or maybe it is ) on bike riding. Buckets of rain are expected this weekend in Japan caused by typhoon, too. Bob Dylan's open-air concert is under threat. And it's a hard, it's a hard, it's a hard, and it's a hard rain's a-gonna fall........ Stay d
