Happy New Year's to everyone! I had a spectacular New Year's Eve in Vienna that was also Stones-related because the band in front of Rathaus played Satisfaction in half an hour before midnight and then the first song they played after midnight was Start Me Up!! That really brought a smile to my face and made me sing out loud.

Queens of the Stone Age are one of the best rock bands of this century. Their album ...Like Clockwork from 2013 was one of the best albums of that year (and this decade for sure!) and this song in particular sounds very Stones-influenced, but especially that guitar solo at the 1:40 mark which really sounds like a solo from Gimme Shelter. video:
