Quotepeoplewitheyes I think the billboards element is fantastic, albeit with a slightly sad nostalgia - especially for us superfans that can identify every year/show/video. It is so great to see just how many iconic images and eras they've had (and that's even without any early footage). Agree with this part! It was actually amazing to see a compilation of footage from so many differe

I am super excited for this album!! Since I was only 6 years old when ABB was released, I truly consider this the first ever new original Stones album I will witness during my lifetime. "Angry" made me so happy, similar to "Doom and Gloom" 11 years ago! Let's bring it on

I just want to say this is going to be my first ever Rolling Stones concert and I am super excited! I am 24 years old and have been a fan since childhood, but an especially dedicated one since around 2012 when I first discovered this site and started researching the band's deep back catalog and unreleased gems, watching historical tours and performances, learning fun facts and trivia, and ha

I agree completely, Out of Time is such an excellent addition to the set list!! It reminded me of how much of an awesome 60s pop hit that song is. Stones delivered so many of them in that mid-60s period. With an intriguing and playful intro, it explodes into a powerful chorus that is perfect for stadium sing-alongs. I will be so happy if we get to hear it in Munich, but hearing Mother's Litt

Worried About You is one my favorites and a hard-hitting song. I want to hear it live ever since that brilliant performance at ACC in 2013. But it is also the least popular one on here so no way it wins.

Those quick drum bursts in Ruby Tuesday. The majestic back beat of Midnight Rambler. The hi-hat work and subtle fills in Hand of Fate. Loud drum fills and intro in Slave. Prominent snare throughout Almost Hear You Sigh. Of course, the trash cans of Moon is Up. And so many more...

Came to IORR after a long time upon hearing the news to express my condolences and sadness. Charlie was the backbone to the soundtrack of my life. Thanks for all the kicks and sticks, for all the snares and hi-hats. We danced, lived, and loved with the rhythm you gave us. Rest in peace!

Happy New Year's to everyone! I had a spectacular New Year's Eve in Vienna that was also Stones-related because the band in front of Rathaus played Satisfaction in half an hour before midnight and then the first song they played after midnight was Start Me Up!! That really brought a smile to my face and made me sing out loud.

Queens of the Stone Age are one of the best rock bands of this century. Their album ...Like Clockwork from 2013 was one of the best albums of that year (and this decade for sure!) and this song in particular sounds very Stones-influenced, but especially that guitar solo at the 1:40 mark which really sounds like a solo from Gimme Shelter. video:

The idea of retiring is like killing yourself. It's almost like Hari Kari. I intend to live to a 100 and go down in history (Keith Richards, BBC Newsnight 2005) Have a happy 75th birthday! Three quarters there.

Glad to see another European tour, but unfortunately no Zagreb/Belgrade/Sarajevo/Ljubljana venue once again. Sarajevo was really close to happening last year with many media outlets reporting how the Stones are finally coming, but unfortunately the whole tour got shifted to autumn so the concert was abandoned. I'll see if I will be available for Prague or Warsaw dates and hopefully atten

People can say what they want, but for me this was the song that got me hooked on the Rolling Stones in same way that "Start Me Up" did for kids in early 80's, and because of that it will always be very special for me. I was just a regular 14-year-old browsing my Facebook feed one day in 2012 when I saw a friend of mine, who was more into classic rock music because of her fathe

QuotePalace Revolution 2000 I love RYM; used to go there a lot. But it is populated, and run by a certain school of thought; a type of elitists, who do not go for bands like the Stones. To have the Stones not show up on an overall list of Best Album until #67 is more than opinionated. Back Sabbath appears 3 times before a Stones album, LOL On the chart of Best Bootlegs of alltime, the first Sto

QuoteBowieStone I use this site a lot. What strikes me is that The Stones don't even have a year-end top 3 finish. 1968: Beggars Banquet is #7 (#1 is The Beatles' White Album) 1969: Let It Bleed #7 again (#1 is King Crimson - In The Court of the Crimson King) 1971: Sticky Fingers #4 (#1 Led Zeppelin IV) 1972: Exile on Main St. #4 (#1 David Bowie - Ziggy Stardust) Some Girls

QuoteBoognish QuoteScreamer this is just to show you what average listeners (not fans) think of their albums. Just curious, how do you know these listeners aren't fans? Some of them definitely are, but most of the votes come from average music listeners for sure. And average rating takes in count all the votes, therefore mostly the votes of the average listeners. That's what I was try

I don't know of any site similar to Rate Your Music, where users can give ratings to albums (and singles, compilations, EPs etc.) and what this site shows is what is some general users' rating of RS albums. Now, of course a few thousand votes per album is not sufficient for being considered general concensus, but this is just to show you what average listeners (not fans) think of their
