A really good album that far exceeds what I expected, there’s something for everyone on it. The album could easily have been a collection of ‘safe’ songs, this isn’t. The band has evolved once again and moved out of their comfort zone. Instead of picking holes in every intricate detail let’s enjoy the music.

The key thing to point out right now is they’re pushing 80. They need a few months to recharge the batteries and take stock. In Manchester during No Filter tour I lost my original Email. Had everything else including several pieces of ID. They had an envelope with my name on it but switched them round last min when I couldn’t provide the Email. Ended up in nosebleeds with a friend. My brother went up a few mins later with his Mrs and scored pits. I’m certain he got mine . My own fault - still not forgiven him ha ha!

If the weather is good, right above the ferry terminal building at the Pier Head there’s a nice Asian restaurant that has the best outdoor terrace view in the city. Matou it’s called. Even if it’s raining I’d recommended as the indoor seating area overlooks the Mersey. The foods also nice too!
