Don't know where else to post this question: Anyone know what cities the Stones EXHIBITIONISM exhibit will travel to after it leaves London in Sept. 2016? Thanks.

I don't know where on this site to post this question: Does anyone know which cities the Stones EXHIBITIONISM exhibit will travel to after it leaves London in Sept. 2016? Thanks. Sorry if this isn't the place to ask that question but I couldn't find a thread that seemed better suited. I DO look forward to Keith's solo album.

Perfectly said -- and thanks for saying it. I like the "too much American Idol" line. The Stones had a great night in Detroit. Don't know how they keep doing it but I'm glad they do.

"But it seems like they are actually playing like they have not in some time and that the tour is ending up a huge smash, not just financially, but philosophically as well. if you know what I mean." _______________________ Please explain how a Rock tour can be a smash "philosophically". I don't understand that. This tour is great for their legacy even though

With respect to those who say the Stones are playing a song too slowly or that Mick isn't stressing a word (like "HeartBreaker") the "right" way, I have to ask, how do you know how the band wants to play the song that night? At this point it looks like they're intentionally changing things here and there. What makes anyone think they know better how to play a

Stonehearted, you shocked me out of not writing! I was indeed talking about you and Dandelion Powderman! Hope you're well. I didn't get negative feedback personally, but I was surprised at the number of Periscope comments -- like you said, Pete got more mention than Mick or Keith. (and the setlist complaints were a nagging continuation from earlier shows on this tour.) But I'l

Good Grief! This is as bad as a group of first year college students trying to outdo each other with one-upsmanship. BV made it easy: post setlist complaints and whining about Mick Taylor on another thread. What's with all the defensiveness? Making sure you get the last word in? If the Stones DO read this, I suspect they're getting a good laugh at your expense. In the past

I think it's hard to compare a 60s version of a song to today's version and say today' is worse. Today's is what it is -- different -- it's their take on it today. They are all different people now and interpret music differently now. I think today's slower and more bluesy versions of their war horses are just as interesting as the older ones. (But I love the Blue

Quotetaz22 QuoteJesse It's not about what we want. Sadly......it is all about the $$$$$$$$$$$$$ Don't fool yourself for one second into thinking it is anything else. I'm not fooling myself. Of course they want the $$$ -- and they deserve every dollar they make on this tour. the more the better as far as I'm concerned. (They all give to numerous charities.)

Taz22 -- sounds like you might have been burned out on their "songs shows" for some time now. I think we'd all agree, DO NOT go to another Stones Show. I suspect the band itself would tell you that too. Bet they won't miss you. The "boys" might be energized by folks who never saw them before or, in fact, a new generation of fan who want the old favorites they p

I admit you all are correct that most info about shows was posted after the shows, not during, before periscope. I recently fractured my ankle so I've been home in the p.m.s and get on this site early on show days instead of late or afterwards like I used to do. Didn't realize my own habits. Question: what's the on-stage chemistry between Mick and Keith like these days?

QuoteTurner68 QuoteJesse Quotetumblingdice You honestly would prefer just a setlist report that we could read people complain about as opposed to actually being able to hear them play live and talk about the actual show instead of the setlist only? I love this that we can be a part of each show this way. No, I didn't say I want only a setlist report. Maybe you should reread what I said.

Quotetumblingdice So you miss when we had to wait 30 minutes or so to find out what song was played next? Hoping someone on the board knew someone at the show that could call or message what was played? Yeah.....good times. I much prefer following along live and sometimes getting that great feed with good sound. No I didn't say that at all. Please don't exaggerate.

I'm sure Periscope is fantastic for those of you who use it. But for those of us who don't, all we mostly read these days is "no contact" or "it's back again" or "we aren't getting good reception this time" etc. I love this site but I miss hearing more details about the shows the way it used to be before Periscope. I loved the personal obser

QuoteDandelionPowderman Clark is old school, but with some really fresh ideas. Mayer is more the SRV-type, although his sound is different, and not very compatible with the Stones imo. Thanks. Is MT more old school then?

This is an honest question about different types of guitar playing. Please explain the difference between Clark Jrs' or John Mayer's style of playing with the Stones vs MT's. I think MT is a wonderful guitarist, but when Mayer or Clark played I thought they rocked harder as a group whereas when MT played it was more about his skills as a soloist. (Which is perfectly ok, he ha

QuoteLong John Stoner QuoteStoneage Play them as a medley at the end. Like Diana Ross did with the Temptations hits. Throw BS, JJF and SF together and make a 5 minutes medley out of it. Skip HTW altogether. Skip Keith's boring interlude songs. Never play a song longer than 7 minutes. And, if they were able to, vary the performance of them so that they don't sound exactly the same from t

Marianna, if my overweight family members or friends were on a public stage with a bunch of skinny rockers, I'd certainly suggest they get in better shape and I'd offer to help them lose weight. Why so personal? You sound like a petty little girl.

Good Grief! You're still at it! Still repeating the same things and telling each other what you want to hear. This may be the longest thread but it's also the most boringly repetitive one. Everyone gets it: you love, adore and kiss the boots of MT. You think he should play on more songs because he really really makes the Stones better. But mean insecure Mick Jagger is wary that
