Obviously there were edits and things fixed in the mix, but are there any playing credits listed for the live at the Racket tracks? Some of the rhythm guitar playing seems to be more consistent and precise than I'm accustomed to hearing from Keith? What's everybody hearing?
I appreciate the credits that were shared, but my question honestly was, did someone else do guitar ove Forum: Tell Me

A key component of the Stones sound and feel was Charlie's approach and how he followed Keith and made it swing. That set the Stones apart from other "rock" bands where everyone followed the drummer. Steve Jordan acknowledged in an interview that he "drives the band", which is what drummers do in every other rock band and misses the point of what was so unique about Charl Forum: Tell Me
All things considered HD is much better than I expected, (and it exists(!), which I didn't expect)! That said, I really miss the sound of Charlie's drums and the incomparable way the group feels with him on the throne. The two cuts that he is on just jump out and grab me and remind me of late '70's Stones. I really am amazed and glad to have new efforts by Mick, Keith and Ronn Forum: Tell Me
In an interview Steve Jordan talked about his allegiance to the original recordings iconic drum hooks and restoring them back to the live renditions, (*extra points to Steve for research and reverence). He also acknowledged the recognized fact that Charlie's playing followed Keith's, but went on to say that he doesn't do that(!), choosing instead to drive the band and have the play Forum: Tell Me

I really like so much about this that I hate to be the one to mention that they may need to give Otis Redding a co-writing credit (like with KD Lang and Anybody Seen My Baby)? Any thoughts? Forum: Tell Me
On FB, go to Shidoobee with StonesDoug and click join. I got a reply that asked a trivia question and was accepted. That said, don't know if anyone is currently around to let you in! Forum: Tell Me
I'd love to hear more of the Bitch, All Down the Line, Whip Comes Down, Can't You Hear Me Knocking, Respectable, Dance Little Sister, Live With Me, Heartbreaker side of their catalog....and throw in Around and Around! Forum: Tell Me
I also have shelves of Stones material, mainly music, video, "boots" and books. I wish I had thought more like a collector. I met MJ in a Borders in Chicago the day after the opening night of the Bridges tour, and met McCartney in '76 and watched two days of rehearsals in Ft. Worth at Will Rogers Coliseum. All I have is the memory of handshakes and bumming a cigarette from McCartne Forum: Tell Me
I've seen every U.S. tour since 1969 and thought it would be the "last time" many times, but here we go again! I would love to see Ronnie featured on CYHMK, (sorry, I couldn't resist)! Now I just need to find a job to be able to pay for tickets and travel. Forum: Tell Me
Always surprised at the number of "Ronnie haters" on this site. My guess is they would have been thrilled if MT had appeared in the same spot. Forum: Tell Me
In Chicago I was disappointed to sit through several minutes of hearing an overrated guest (MT) solo for much longer than Keith and Ronnie combined. I much prefer Ronnie's style and attitude, which has added so much to the band all of these years, (I can't imagine 'Some Girls' working, or even happening with MT in the band). A high point in 2002-2003 was hearing Ronnie soloing Forum: Tell Me
