For AbuD. still tickets available all over the place. This is not a country with a rock history of whatsoever. Just a few rich expats who may be interested to sing along with the greatest hits. Choice for this country has only been $ motivaed I presume

Thanks for the valuable info guys! Agree with the comment of Gaslightstreet. and adding new vocals or whatever parts feels like kind of karaoke to me. Would have been happy if they had released most of the outtakes in their original versions.

SG is my favorite Stones CD since it was released. It would be appreciated if somebody can help me out with a few questions I have on the 2CD release: 1. how come Ian Stewart is not playing (at least not mentioned...) on the 'official' SG release (piano by Ian McL.), whereas he is mentioned on 5 out of the 11 songs from the bonus CD? 2. Chuck L. is mentioned as piano player on S

Sad but true, and wonderfully said...Damn the blind woreshippers It's the reason I don't want to see them anymore. And these days suddenly Ronnie is considered to be in great shape. But it's only because Keith his terrible playing that now Ronnie looks so good. Although he is for sure better than during the 98/99 tours when he was a useless clown.

' 2013 USA shows the best shows since 1972' What a joke, how can somebody seriously make such a comment ? I totally agree with Matthijs, most of the shows in the USA are 2nd class shows. Not because of Jagger, but clearly because of Wood/Richards. Yes these guitars are loud, but that makes listening even more painful for the ears. And yes, my info is based purely on a few ex

My friend from Spain is not a Stones worshipper, but comes close. He went to both O2 gigs last year, Hyde Park last Saterday and will go again this week. But this was the first time he was really critical: 1. No surprises at all in the set list 2. over crowded in fos 2 - far away over priced for what view/space you got. I decided not to see the Stones anymore after they played only on

Thanks for the info Erik, did not know. Sound really great to my ears. I am sure they will be for downloading already. this quality I simply prefer to have the pressed CD Btw, most of the time the WV files are mp3. Have they been transferred to flac/wave?

Both titles released in superb soundboard last week in Japan by ' no label' All three hundred copies for each titles were sold out in 4 days. Rather unique these days with pressed bootlegs... Hampton 2nd and Chicago 3rd day, to prevent any misunderstanding.

Well, I just listened to Oakland, recording in great sound quality. Both Ronnie and Keith are musically laughing stock.

Just listened to Oakland from a near excellent dime upload. Was shocked to hear how bad/out of tune/hardly any good playing etc. both guitarists sounded. Was tough for Jagger to 'save' the whole gig with help from D.Jones and Chuck (although not a fan of his styloe playing, at least he played in tune...). In 98/99 Wood was completely out of it but Richard somehow could save his ass.

In great form? I think that is exegerrated. Based on my listenings to excellent sounding recordings from both London shows I cannot judge it more than 'mediocre' Espec both Keith and Ronnie are just 'so so'. Charlie has played better at former tours but as usual it is Jagger lifting up the level. Take à listen again now à few months after the hype and I am curious if peo

Saw three out of five shows in A'dam - fos . Ronnie sucked heavily, he hardly touched his guitar for the whole show, just clowned around. Keith was still rather ok. The b-stage was most fun with Crazy Mama if I remember correctly.

Haha. The prices were simply not what I want to pay for these days Stones. I just bought my self in Tokyo for more than $500 worth of great Tarantura and EV bootlegs / beautifully packed from seventies LZ, Clapton, and early eighties Iron M and the Priest, what is worth all penny for me. And yes, I have an excellent audience recording from the first day and a very good one from the 2nd d

I know it is not 78 or 81/82 anymore but after all I heard after the London gigs I had a bit more expectations... Glad I did not go after all, although I had many changes to buy first class tickets for 'regular' prices with my Amex

well, whether to your ears it is a 'twisted mix' or not, the guitars sound very clear. And they suck to my opinion. Both Keith and Ronnie.

I agree. Never understood all the hype here on the website about these crazy overpriced gigs. Also much too positive reviewd in my opinion. Even Mathijs! Listen to these boots with an objective ear and you will be greatly disappointed. No 2013 tour please, just keep releasing gigs from the archives until 1982.

Just purchased in Tokyo the Empress Valley of the first two gigs in london: I prefer it compared to the Godfather release which I have with me on by business travel: more clear sound in general guitars and drums more up in front Very reasonable priced for a EV release: approx. $40 for a 4CD simple package/comparable with GF. Where as I paid $240,- for the new perfect Led Zepp 6 CD 77 soundb

I remember going to Ronnie his Budokan gig in 1993. Fully packed / it rocked. So far I was never able to get my hands on a recording. However, during my business trip to Japan this time I accidentely jumped into the following CD-R 4CD release by Uxbridge: Slide on Live Japan Tour 1993 Osaka 10-1-1993 excellent recording. Budokan 14-1-1993 very good recording Probably old news as this was
