Now that it's out you can revisit any time you like. Someone earlier stated it doesn't measure to Plundered, but IMO it exceeds. It's really a Keith song, isn't it? Cool.....><

QuoteHairball QuoteMaindefender iTunes: 3:48 Mescal: 3:32 (presong is closer to :17) According to quietbeatle, the itunes and video are one in the same..."the iTunes/video version is 3:48 and this says 3:35". So subtract 17 seconds of dialogue from the itunes/video version, and it's down to 3:31 which is quite close to 3:35. Chances are they could be the same as that website

I guess that could make it at 3:35 the war on drugs mix. Guess I need to listen, never heard it all the way thru...

QuoteHairball Another remix? lol................ But I thought the War on Drugs remix was the one used for the Paul Mescal video - New video Confusing I tell ya - seems they're throwing everything at the wall hoping something sticks... If they put this much time and effort in to some new music, probably would have had a new album a loooong time ago. Timings don’t match up....(ITunes vs.

Just listened to couple of their songs, especially like "Baby Missles". Could be interesting..there is an effort being made to blend old and new. All the timings are up on ITunes. All The Rage at 4:11, the WOD Scarlet at 3:48 etc.

I subscribe to the Dave's Picks series, which still bangs out 4 impressive shows each year. Philly 4/20/84 just came out. '84 is considered a really inconsistent year for Garcia with his drug situation, but this show(along with 4/19 hilites) is truly one of their finest. Such a nice surprise!! The Stones vault stuff can't touch the quality of the Grateful Dead live releases

Will the radio mix be one of the two bonus tracks on the digital release? Drives me crazy over the years alternate versions of songs never become officially available.

Jesus Hairball I hope you didn’t preorder this turd of a release. 2020 sucks and you won’t let some of us fondly remember the mid 70’s music scene

QuoteDoxa Christiaan, as far as I know no one had heard anything of, or in any form of, "Plundered" before the official release. Nor of "Following The River". In both cases, there seemingly was only a very basic backing track existing. I recall them saying that their leading idea was to discover tracks not familiar from bootlegs. At that time, Don Was also mentioned "Scar

Mick attempted every current trend(still does), with a Stonesy spin which mostly worked. Funny I played Emotional Rescue from Hyde Park over the weekend, it’s absolutely fantastic, better than the underwhelming studio version.

QuoteHairball QuoteStoneage If Ronnie wasn't there (which seems a bit strange since they recorded in his basement) and the lyrics were added afterwards: Was Keith the only Stone to participate on that song? And in that case - is it a Rolling Stones song then? I pointed that fact out earlier, and my answer was 'not really'...it's all questionable at best. But slap some Jag

Quotegeorgelicks The vocals are from 2020, I don't know how some people don't hear it, Mick didn't sing like that in 1974. Keith vocals are from 1974, most of Mick's new vocals are very well double tracked with Keith, it works great and that's why some people can be confused. So it is Keith’s vocals, that’s great thanks.

Quotewhitem8 I’m sorry but this was such a wasted opportunity. And lazy. The bonus tracks on this are laughable. Only three real genuine interesting ones, the rest instrumentals!? Really? I want to hear Mick sing? And then the rest are just different mixes of songs that are already on the album? I’m sorry this is lame and whoever is the curator should be fired. And I blame Mick too because he’s l

QuoteGasLightStreet Quotejbwelda >And you should have seen her ass? Yes, you are right, I should have. But isn't that song included on this release under a different title? I hear ya but it is kind of funny to use the bootlegs you have acquired without any payment to the band as some kind of rationale for complaining about what they do put out. No offense, just sayin'.
