As the Dead Daisies are playing in my home town tonight along with The Black Star Riders (Thin Lizzy) I decided to get along there early and see if I could catch up with him before the soundcheck. After a short wait their Tour Bus pulled up and as he got off I got to have brief chat with him and he very graciously took time to talk and pose for a quick pic. Very cool guy and very accomodating. Made a few new updates in the last few days, felt the two pics of Keef was a bit much and wanted a little more balance. Got a new Band photo framed as well as a cracking shot of Ronnie from Hyde Park. My Partner loves 'You Got The Silver' so I had the chorus lyrics put into a small frame and made a Deep framed Voodoo Longue sign with small Red led lights placed in it so it lights up. Am

Quoteodean73 Love the table. Where did you get the hyde park poster from, i have looked on the internet and cant see anything coming up for that poster. I made it myself and printed it where I work. It came out pretty cool, I added the dates for my Partner as it was her first ever Stones shows.

I just redecorated my Kitchen with my new Partner who Loves the Stones as much as I do. I was amazed when she was in total agreement with me that this was the way to go with it. I think it's turned out pretty damn good and thought I'd share it with you all to see what you think. I had all the lettering done by an online company, made the pics myself, painted

An extract from one of the nicest Musicians I've ever met talking about one of the nicest Musicians he's ever met. Very cool. A lot of people might not know that you spent a bit of time in Mick Jagger's solo group, and I was curious if you had any good stories from that time in your career, or could possibly tell me how that partnership arose. That was a great turn of events fo

Oh My God, all the whingers, whiners and moaners must be absolutely delighted with this News. It's just what they wanted, all their dreams come true once again. The Stones have done them proud but giving them exactly what they want....A reason to moan.....did I hear someone say 'what a load of crap'??? Really?? Are you sure you're on the right Band forum, a dvd of the Stones i

I get totally bewildered on a day to day basis by the people who are so negative about the Stones and here we go again over the release of this new DVD set. This is for the thousands who were there and the thousands who weren't. It's not about wether it was the best show they ever played, it's about this Show. The two Hyde Park shows were fantastic and worth every penny for tickets

Just wondered if anyone would be able to do me a copy of Stripped on DVD. I have the full Glastonbury show on DVD or @#$%& Blues DVD, quality is ok on that one but not brilliant, certainly watchable if you've never seen it before though. Thanks

I was wondering if any of you knowledgable folks on here could help me remember where I got this. I guess it's about 22-23 years old now and I remember getting it from one of those great little record shops that used to post adverts in Sounds Music Paper back then. They were a reputable shop and very well known but I just can't think who it was. I've never seen one like it since. I

Quotedrjay after listening to numerous shows it is clear that the resurgence of Ronnie Wood is the big improvement for me You're spot on, Ronnie is playing fantastic, but what about Charlie? He was immense at both HP shows, for someone of his age to still be so 'on the money' and at the top of his game is incredible.

QuoteRoll73 So great that this has been made available and allows those who were there to relive the glorious moments - and for those that weren't lucky enough to be there of course. Although I'd wish they'd kept the SMU intro as it was in all its glory. I wander where the 'correct' version was flown in from. Answers on a postcard. I would guess that they samp

On the second run through of it now and I think it sounds great. I was lucky enough to have been at both shows and whether or not people term this as a 'souvenir' is irrelevant, i think it's a totally valid and honest sounding show (apart from Keef's SMU intro). It's a massive moment in both Rock 'n' Roll and Stones History and it's there for most people to
