Quotetommyquinn There were a lot that I liked before, but it is ROCKS OFF that really did it for me. What an opening track!! It is so perfect, I could listen to it over and over on repeat and never get sick of it.(The Exile version of course, not the abomination on the LIVE LICKS double LP) I still get goosebumps everytime I hear it. And probably will til the day I die. That song cemented my ever

I guess I've listened to the Stones since birth. Mom saw them in '65 at the San Jose Civic for $2.50. Dad was at Altamont. My parent's album collection stopped at around Satanic Majesties, not sure why. I used to play December's Children and Aftermath over and over by 3rd grade in 1977. I'm guessing "Paint it Black" is what really got me early on as a 9 year old

QuoteAlfonz Quotetiffjagger QuoteHalup After having my suspicions in Anaheim that the Pit tickets were already predetermined and not random in the envelopes they were handing out, I confirmed tonight at Staples that that is the case. Quotemgshorr I was right next to the stage when Dave Grohl soloed on Bitch. My left ear has been ringing since then. (3rd day today) Figure about 90% of you will joke me, but seriously, how long could this last? The ringing is not noticeable in a normal setting of conversation etc...but very noticeable in a quiet room and when trying to sleep. History = No prior ear damage/ringing etc..

Quotewopperla Thank God we are out of Anaheim. Did anyone notice the Nazi vibe Saturday night? Starting with the Really Milataristic Bible Thumpers lined up every ten feet outside the Honda to the completely obnoxious Honda Usher who got into my face during Brown Sugar because I was one foot into the aisle and then the infamous Exit route created by who knows who to make sure we CANNOT get on

Quotedimtim Ok my receipt for Anaheim May 18 $85 tickets it says Section Vouch, Row GA16, Seats 167-168. Did anyone w $85s for other shows have the same Section and Row And if so where did you end up? Or is this a bunch of BS and means nothing? Mine says GA1 seats 121-122? Means nothing I'm guessing. What time is everyone planning on getting in line on Saturday? I'd like to g

QuoteHarpo We got our 85's for Anaheim they were in section 448 very back of the place, next to the the last row. About the second song some dude in a suit asked for our tickets, took them, and handed back two different tickets in section 106. They were about 8 rows up from the tongue! Wow. What an upgrade! It seems the last row or two in the 4 very back sections were being relocated. Had a

Goodfellas is a classic. There is scene in "Get Him to the Greek" where Russel Brand is smoking a "jeffery" with Colm Meaney in Vegas and Rocks Off is playing in the background. Not the best scene in a movie, but pretty funny.

Well it is Las Vegas so it makes sense to me. I don't mind her personally, although her music is pretty bad. Her exhusband is super sexy.

Nothing at all wrong with the band. The ticket selling strategy is the problem. I can't wait to see the Stones!

Quotebv San Jose meet-up place: To be published here tomorrow Tuesday morning. I will find a place closer to the venue, near the San Pedro Square and Santa Clara St... I was at the "Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant" today, it is nice, but a bit far away really. Will see the old places from the 1999 SJ shows tomorrow morning and post a new address as soon as I find it. I do remem

QuoteNo Expectations Quotetiffjagger Those "you're going to hell" people will be at San Jose too. They are ALWAYS there for concerts. Complete nut bags. These clowns have been around events in the Bay Area forever. I wonder where they bus them in from? . I'm used to our regular lunes, but these religious ones always come as a shock around here.

Quotedjcasyun Read about exchanging tics on this forum - from someone who attended the Staples Ctr show. My email took 2-3 min but I imagine they're getting busier (thanks in part to us I'm sure). Kind of a suprise but then again airlines do this and the SF Giants (and other teams I'm sure) have dynamic pricing. But you never know what you'll get if you try-my wife got us a

Took two calls; the first guy I talked to said he couldn't do it because I bought them on presale. Called again and the second guy made the switch. Didn't believe it until I got the email with the new tickets. Thanks for the tip IORR!! djcasyun, when did you get your email and or

Quotesweetcharmedlife I thought they were'nt selling behind the stage seats? They are now! Just checked myself. I wonder if they took too big of a bath with 85s at Staples and they want to at least try to fill the lowers at the $250 level instead of dropping more $85s to fill those seats. Never a dull moment that's for sure.

I'm happy for those that can take advantage of this, but I feel a little bad for the people that paid full price a month ago and are getting not so great seats. Really they should upgrade those that bought full price tickets when they went on sale to the lower levels and fill the uppers with 85s or release the uppers at a lower price.Just my opinion.

Hi Stones2005. You can take Caltrain up to SF from Downtown San Jose. The last stop is by the SF Giants Stadium. Plenty to do around there. To get to the zoo from there I think you have to get a Muni street car or bus out to the Avenues. I don't use a lot of public transportion when in SF except Caltrain to Giants games so hopefully someone can help you out better than I can.

Staying at the Fairmont so GB works for me and the rest of the tjagger family. There is another Stones gathering at the Brittania Arms but I don't want to have to get ourselves to The Brit and then the HP, so GB is good as it is closer to the downtown hotels. Any idea on the time this will start?

Quotemrsoandso Thanks tiffjagger. I'm flying in for the San Jose show and wanted to spend a few days at the beach after. It's my wifes first time in Cali so I wanted to give her a taste of the scene, Santa Cruz seemed like a good spot. I'm not going to have a car so I needed someplace accessible by public transport, near the beach, reasonably priced and clean. Thanks again.
