For some reason I like the Steel Wheels era tongues. The white shirt with all the tongues (Andy Warhol patterned) from the tour I still have and wear and hasn't been matched IMHO.

Howard is the best! He's a very good interviewer and extremely intelligent. He was source of info on the morning of 9/11. Comedy went out the air immediately and he was very informative and a calming presence. Who can ever forget the OJ Ford Bronco chase if you were watching ABC? I remember watching this with my dad and it was intense. When Jennings took the call to one of Howard's

London Calling - always on greatest album ever lists. I bought it 15 years ago, played it and never opened the CD case ever again. Not sure why this is considered a great album. Was it something unique at the time - like punk? This is just one man's opinion

Dino was a cool customer. When I first saw the clip on 25x5 it was funny. His generation didn't care for rock and roll, so to him to see these kids with long hair was confusing. I also think he just did it for comedic effect. It was a funny joke(s) Lot of cool stories about Dino though. He had the Mill Brothers on one of his shows and was honored he was allowed to sing with them. This was

I caught it last night....Loved it....Bobby seemed like a really genuine guy. Jim Price is a pro's pro - he has that "been there -done that and not impressed with myself attitude". Mick Taylor was great. Glaring omission - one Michael Phillip Jagger. I'm from the Mick camp vs. Keith side but it does make me wonder if his skin is too thin. The only ones I can think of from

Such an accomplished career. He lived a long life but still sad to see such an influence gone. In the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a side man. His work as part of the Wall of Sound gets him in alone. I think he played on consecutive Grammy Record of the Year - something like 5 in a row? Who else can say they recorded with Frank Sinatra, Bob Dylan, Elvis all in there prime?? Amazing....RIP

yes....the broad street subway line can get you there in 20 minutes which includes walking to the station, waiting for the train and getting to Broad and Pattison all in 20 minutes. You are staying at a very nice part of the city btw. You will have no trouble getting to and fro using the subway.

Is it now open? Do they serve food? I take my daughter to NYC every year as its her favorite city. We are going at the end of the month and would love to pop in and have a look. I took her to this street 2 years ago and snapped a pic of her on the steps of the video shoot....Waiting on a Friend is her favorite Stones song - I teach my 9 year old the important things in life...

I loved this PPV - Especially the approving smile Charlie gives Keith after the intro to Gimme Shelter. The battle of guitars with Keith, Gary Clark, Jr. Ronnie and John Mayer was amazing. Bruce having the time of his life with Tumbling Dice. Mick's funny mention about New Jersey - "the Garden State".I live across the river from Jersey and find this motto incredibly stupid.

Seeing Mick Taylor back in the fold in Philly 2013 playing Midnight Rambler. Also at the same concert - Keith's solo for SFTD - it was LOUD and right on the money....

I agree with you for the most part but they have song gems that stand beside the "Taylor" era. Shattered is a masterpiece. There is at least one great song an album since Taylor that is just as good....IMHO

I loved this interview when it first aired. Philly '89 was my first Stones concert and this interview was after I saw them. It's was a reminder and still is of the excitement I had seeing them live for the first time. Also I have never heard SFTD so good since. Mick was really getting into it and Keith was spot on with the solo. They were incredible in '89.

Quotebrianwalker Quotenorthernale1 Maybe Keith did punch Mick,, but its the part of the book Mick wanted edited out,,, That was just one more thing thata Keith betrayed Mick on. Why the hell would you go tell the media about this? Does he think Jagger wants that made public? One more reason if I was Jagger I would never work with Richards again. Jagger is a private person ( like myself ) an

I watched it this morning. I really like the song so I wanted to hear it live but I couldn't help but feel a little sad because its Chuck's song. I wish CBIII was the only one who did the "Chuck scoot", but he was blocked out by the guy singing. Thought it would have been cool if his grandson only did it as well as the duck walk..oh well. I thought CBII played great and I

I gained much respect when he played a backyard concert years ago that some contest VH1 held. He was a marquee name and agreed to take part in the contest. Figured he was down to earth type of guy.....some of his songs are really good....human wheels, pop singer, cherry bomb and wild night are some of my favorites.....

Quotematxil I like Breaking Bad. I think The Sopranos is ok. I am absolutely in awe by the perfect piece of art that is The Wire. Breaking Bad is very good television, one of the best. I love, absolutely love the interactions between Walt and Jesse, those are the highlights of the series. I am less fond of all the family interactions. They are necessary of course, and an important counter-poi

I downloaded Big Boys yesterday from ITunes. I can't stop playing it. I find it fascinating and sad. Sad that he won't hear the accolades that this song deserves. Fascinated that the song is so good. Its better than anything on Rock-It. At least for this song the effort was 100% to produce something so good.

Keith mentioned Bruce in his 1988 cover story in Rolling Stone by saying he was contrived - working class hero stuff. I think that was 100% correct and oddly enough around this time Bruce attempted to change, he disbanded the E - Street Band and attempted to change his approach......Same article he called George Michael a wimp and told him to shave and go home...
