Quotehopkins you ever think of that man? I've thought of everything, Hopkins-san; 11 or 12 times over. It's the cross I bear as I stumble through this material world.

Quotestonehearted As a sidebar to The Who's Endless Wire tour, there was the Racher Fuller presentation In The Attic, in which Pete Townshend and Lou Reed duetted in an acoustic format. So awesome, SH; had no idea these guys had ever played together; THANKS for posting!

You couldn't have picked a better clip to have encapsulated The Rolling Stones in 2017. What was once a dangerous blues odyssey about a mass murderer has now become a feel-good audience sing-along! Lemme hear ya say OH YEAH!!!!!!

Quotestone4ever Ronnie is just blowing my mind, i mean he really is, what was he doing all those lost years, i just wish him all the best, he looks so gaunt, could be the rock and roll life style, could be something else, put he is playing like a man possessed. I have not felt better about a tour in my life, this is just going to go into another dimension as far as playing goes, Ronnie is brin

Quotehopkins really think sara saved the day on shelter if by sara you mean sasha then I am in complete agreement ... but i'd go even further: her repeated "rape, murder, is just a kiss away" not only saved the song ... it may have saved the tour!

Quotedcba QuoteLongBeachArena72 Alas, no, Bill and Mick T were only at Knebworth; while the show overall was great some found it a tad disappointing that Bill only appeared on a rushed "Look What the Cat Dragged In," while Taylor fans had to content themselves with their boy banging a tambourine on "Moon Is Up." Yes, I did attend all of the 2018 shows in the UK, although

Saw him at the Hammersmith Odeon in early 75 (guess that was the Coney Island Baby tour?--amazing intense show. Ashamed to admit that I wasn't into the Velvets or into Lou at all until Bowie turned me on to him with Transformer. I came across this last year sometime; if you haven't seen it, you're in for a treat--12 mins of Lou doin the graveyard blues:

Quotebye bye johnny Sunset in São Paulo. Tomorrow we rehearse here for our first show in South America. This has been a varied year for me. A lot of the usual things happening, and there are many new things a fairly long way in the future for me. I am preparing to take a one year ‘sabbatical’ from all the things I normally do in my career. The dictionary describes this thus: a period of paid leav

QuoteMisterDDDD QuoteLongBeachArena72 Really? Is everyone too tasteful to make the obvs "from one tiny todger to another" joke? Not too tasteful. Too mature. True. Stonesdom has definitely 'matured.' We piss anywhere, man, as long as it's in a well-marked stall.

QuoteHairball I've mentioned the same regarding what Keith says about Mick ...calling his album "dogshit in the doorway"...saying he has a "tiny todger"...and the latest "being prolific don't mean shit", etc., etc., etc. - they might actually be in cahoots with each other laughing as they come up with these barbs. And it could be that Mick comes up wit

QuoteHairball Quotejlowe Keith can certainly dish it out....but can he take it? He was a bit miffed when Elton John called him an 'arthritic monkey'. I don't think he had a reaction to that...here's the back story from 1997: Keith on Elton: “An old bitch… his writing is limited to songs about dead blondes.” Elton’s response: “I’m glad I’ve given up drugs and alcohol

"Mick Jagger's a dick (albeit a small one), I can't wait to get the boys back into the studio, and, oh yeah, rap sucks." Ok, that's more of a paraphrase, or a mash-up of paraphrases, than an actual quote ...

Ok, a new Stones tour begins. Let's posit that there are 100 reasonably active members at IORR. Out of those 100, how many are in attendance at an individual show? Let's say 10. Show #1: I for one would be perfectly happy (as one of the 90 not in attendance), to let the 10 who were there sit in judgement on the artistic quality of the show in question. I would reserve the right t
