You really have to question the sincerity of her efforts. To me there's no doubt that she is taking the piss and she was introduced by a consummate piss-taker. It may be art in the way of pointing out to what length fans may go to defend and excuse the obnoxiousness.

Totally amazed by your analysis on the G7 original ADTL intro. I was definitely one of those people who'd associate So Divine to the PIB intro, but you're spot on working out what he did there. By looking at the way Keith plays ADTL live there'd be no way to make the connection. To me the 2005 rendition you showed in the beginning sounds even slightly out of tune when compared with

You know there's virologists who predicted that "immune pressure" from vaccinated individuals would cause it to evolve like that.

Quote24FPS There's a remix of YGMR that is killer, from 1994. It was so long ago I have it on a cassette mixtape. Do you mean the "Perfecto Mix"? I enjoyed that one too, in a weird 90s techno retro way

No I hear the people in proximity to the recording device. You'll reliably refute any obervation I could make, but you have to realize they will never pay you back for your service. It will always just be you paying half a months salary for the privilege of standing next to a millionaires wife who has no idea who Charlie was and then it's on you to pretend you're actually surrounde

An audience recording tells you more about the audience than you wanna know. You hear them figuring out in real time what the Charlie footage is about. Sorry guys but everything about that show turned out exactly the disgrace I and others predicted it would be.

If you're fattening up your population you'll need corresponding healthcare capacities. Not having that and ostracizing people who advocate a healthy lifestyle "in the face of the pandemic" will leave you no choice but to blame evrything on the virus

They can go ahead with the vaccine mandate only to find out that it won't solve their problem. They'll be washing their hands until the bones stick out. It's a mental issue at this point

QuoteStoneage I still don't get it: Keith has obvious problems with intros and solos, the guitar section is often disconnected and sometimes Keith has to sit down to nail the chords - and still people talk about playing "only" 17 songs is the main problem. And you don't have to have been to one or more shows to notice it. A cell phone stream is all you need to understand that.

Mick spitting on the stage floor is such a distinctive image that I won't even bother to produce video evidence. What you describe might also happen but there's no point to it. the tissues are for nose blowing

QuoteChrisL Mick uses them to spit in. It's a lot more viewer friendly than what Patti Smith does, spitting to her right all the time. performative spitting is also a feature with Mick, I don't recall him ever using a tissue for that

Quoteskytrench In future, people may well look back with shock over the methods applied at present to try and deal with Covid-19! True that. It's gotten so frantic that the bigger picture got lost completely. People don't even realize the scope of the infringement of their rights anymore

I have been mulling about these new Fiji Jim lyrics lately. The fact that Mick had to add to the sixpack of champagne another "keg of beer bring it over here" shows imo that he's out of his depth nowadays. Just a gut feeling.

Quotepftw04 Well the last 2 shows was good. But not great. So do you feel they should hang it. Of course they will never officially announce that its over There's a case to be made for retiring, but this most definitely is not it.

Also tiresome how they always point out how Pete was frustrated about some minor nuisance with the guitar. Yeah right

I'm having a look at that list of smashed guitars right now and the related anecdotes. Several fans summing up the experience with "Those were the days" Guess you had to be there, I still consider it wildly idiotic

It would backfire on them if they tried to play festivals at this point. Winning over the Glastonbury audience the way they did was a triumph for them, but they could not do that now. They need an audience that has some idea of what to expect

When someone comes in with the intent to do something inexplicable that's a nuisance to everyone else, there's no way to say that otherwise she was nice and John is to blame for the dynamic of her being there

QuotePaddy QuoteNikkei "I don't blame Yoko for any of this... ...never mind the Yoko screeching bits" so what is it then? She seemed pretty quite and reserved, so there’s no blame there for how these sessions went. Nevermind the screeching Jams..... again that does not make any sense. you're either quiet and reserved or screeching, it can't be both

Real headscratcher how they never bothered to acknowledge the contents of the bonus disks on stage (could have played When You're Gone, Plundered My Soul, Claudine, Criss Cross etc) but when they're really scraping the bottom of the barrel they decide to try that one?

I always wondered how that was even possible especially with regards to the pretty generic stuff that they ended up talking about in the movie. Maybe it was a bit of a monkeys hammering away at the typewriters situation

QuoteProfessorWolf Quotepodiumboy Ozzy just became the first artist to move his 2022 European tour dates to 2023. Something tells me many others will follow. Getting multiple countries on the same page enough to mount a tour will be difficult. If it doesn't work out, we'd love to have you back in the US/Canada!! ake up some of those cities that got cut out of the 2020/21 itenerary

QuoteRocktiludrop QuoteNikkei I can't imagine a better modern day version than this one from 2014. The one from Stripped must also be one of the best ever I gotta take my hat off to you for that one, absolutely brilliant Keith, i forgot how good he was in 2014, Hyde Park was a great version of SFM too the year before. That whole show really was one for the ages
