I saw them in Malmö June 1965! As far as I remember they played at Baltiska Hallen. There are some clips from their visit at Youtube.

Yes, indeed! One of the better sounding recording from this tour. Nice to hear Aaron Neville. Must be the first time they have ever played Under the boardwalk live??

Yes, I agree! But aren´t we all getting a wee bit nostalgic now? would love to hear some of these live but most people not! Off the hook, you better move on etc could maybe work but Walking through the sleepy city no way! I hope they come to Sweden next year but this is probably just in my imagination (running away with me)!

Well, I attended the Copenhagen show that year and that was quite an experience that I will never forget. I even have the ticketstump and programme somewhere in my collection. But pay 2000 bucks, no way!!

It is always difficult to say what is culturally significant or not. Creating a kanon of important music or literature is of course very difficult to create. Dark Side of the Moon is to my mind at least one of the great rock albums and maybe the only one that I play of Pink Floyd. I still remember posting the decals on my door at home! So, great album but culturally significant-..__ Stones first

Well, how much I love the Stones I would never pay the ticket prices in London for a show in Sweden! Maybe if they would come back to Malmö. The place where I saw them in 65 and 70. That would never happen!! So me and the son will see Iron Maiden at Friends Arena in June! Maybe not the same but still great fun!!

Yes, a nice listen but nothing else. Gary Moores own version is I believe miles ahead of Claptons. A rather boring album I must say and I am, used to be, a huge fan.

Yes, really a pity! One more old favorite gone! I remember seeing TYA in Lund (Sweden) in 1968. Leo Lyons pumping away on his bas and Lee really blowing free!

Well, approaching the age of retirement I agree! LET IT BE!We have all had a lot of pleasure listening to the Stones music but now I do not really now. They are still mu number one group of all time but there is a lot of good new music around so please put your ears to the ground and listen!!

Yes, they were once great! Between Surrealistic Pillow until Volunteers they were probably one of the best band around. Spencer Dryden, Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Cassady could really blow up a storm. After bathing at Baxters could maybe be , at least parts of it, a hard cookie to swallow!
