We all get old(er) and our hearing worse all the time. I can tell 128 / s mp3s still -> they are very bad. 16bit / 44kHz <-> HighDefinition / the second a tad better for sure - you will need a very good Stereo.

QuoteIrix Other DVD Ripper are MakeMKV or AnyDVD (by RedFox). Quoteexilestones I tried to overdub the sound with the official CD but the CD is longer than the DVD. Doom and Gloom on the DVD must be edited, therefore I cannot match the video with the audio. Maybe it's the PAL speed-up (4% difference): ? Should be a NTSC DVD ??? Like all Eagle DVDs -

Quote24FPS Ordered one on ebay, a stand alone Blu Ray from Eagle Rock Europe. Nowhere did I see it noted if it was limited to a particular region for a Blu Ray player. Hope it's universal. The Eagle Rock blurays are region free. I think the DVDs also. (Rolling Stones)

Quotesbetz At the time, I did not know that this rebroadcast was being remastered, allegedly by Bob Clearmountain. I heard a bit if it but sadly, did not record it. I recall noticing that the separation of guitars, keyboards was better and overall sound less muddy but it wasn't as powerful or vibrant as the original broadcast. So does ANYBODY happen to have this? Was it ever bootlegg

Some row and unperfect recordings live or studio that wasn' t available on boot would be great ... Or unaltered studio-outtakes 1974 - 1990 ?

QuoteIsakSun Quotehockenheim95 After two listening sessions I must admit the mix isn't as horrible as Miami 94. It is guitar driven but somehow distant and sometimes overloaded but I am more satisfied with it than with the last few ones. The CD version was cut down to fit on two CDs. Therefore some introductions were cut and the band intros stops after a few musicians. The Download/Spoti

Quotefalo01 received my copy today. first impressions: Yes, it's SD only but anyway huge upgrade to circulating videos. Sound very close, also much better than the distant sound we had until now. Haven't made my mind up yet about the mix etc., but so far it's looking like a nice release. The packaging of the 6 discs set is very nice, in case someone cares. EDIT: surprise

Quoteslowhand Par for the coarse on these archival Rolling Stones CD releases, the DR values suck on this one. However, it's still by far the best you're going to find for this show, the mix is great with great clarity on all instruments, especially Keith, can't say the same for the old bootleg versions. The Blu-ray is excellent, they obviously did a fantastic restoration, again,

I hate buying the same show twice...but... I have the TSP Box too I doubt that the new audio will be a night and day difference - a little cleaner but much more compressed ... I wait for a sale or maybe I skip on this one.

Quoteliddas Quoteironbelly Quoteglimmertwin1 I care about my CDs and stopped buying these boxsets and most digipacks ... Agree. Jewel case is a proper package for CD (although not ideal). On the other hand I do not know if modern cheap Chinese plastic jewel cases are any better than digipaks (I am not talking about paper sleeves and mini-LP replicas that are total junk). Quoteironbelly QuoteHairball I thought they were valid criticisms...who wants a book that's glued to the box, or cd's shoved in between cardboard without their own sleeves? I guess those quibbles don't bother some of those who paid $100+, though some actually do care (like the guy in the video), but for that money I'd expect better packaging. Actually, they put CDs that way
