I’ve never considered him anything BUT a great singer. Amazing voice. Some of his song selections a bit dubious, but then, that’s the same for everybody!!

QuoteElmo Lewis My Love Will Not Let You Down vs. Rosalita is a bad swap Great swap. Rosalita, I’ve never got into. Bit of a messy shambles. Fun I guess, but nowhere near a favourite of mine.

They have fun and enjoy doing it as we do. They earn a lot of money doing it, because millions of people went to see them live. They don't need a new album. And if it's not successful, they damage their extreme

QuoteFP I think some of the albums after are actually maybe stronger in content but I am not really a big fan of the sound of B&B or Some Girls (even if they have better songs overall). The SOUND of Black & Blue is OUTSTANDING. The last great sounding record by ANYONE I reckon. Clear, yet Stones-muddy in parts, loud , yet not compressed-loud wars loud, shimmery and sonically sensational

The interviewer heard it??? Quote: The dedication to quality and craftsmanship is evident in the final product. The album, which is yet to be titled, features a collection of tracks that showcase the Rolling Stones‘ signature sound while exploring new musical territories. Jagger expressed his excitement about the album, stating, “It’s a diverse collection of songs that reflects our growth a

QuoteGasLightStreet Let's put that into math: 20 is a bit precise, because in 2012 there was Doom And Gloom and Don't Stop. OK so let's say from 2013 onward: BLUE AND LONESOME in 2016 (barely). Living In A Ghost Town in 2019. Aside from the reissues and solo material, yeah, that's hardly anything - but given how they are these days (since 2005), it is what it

QuoteNilsHolgersson Quotetimmyj3 QuoteDiamondDog7 I love the Stones. But I think I'm one of the few who DON'T want to hear or care for a new album by the Stones! Another KR riff, another 'forced' MJ vocals, mediocre lyrics, no Charlie etc etc...All these elements on a new album? No, I pass. We're blessed with all those magical albums like Sticky Fingers, Exile, Beggars

No. They’re just a band. I’m a fanatic just like you all. But do they “owe” us something about why they’re not touring? Oh please.. we’re all adults. Don’t need our hand held.

Quotedrewmaster QuoteRockman But Hey I do read his interviews ..... I can't resist some of Macca's best stuff (Band on the Run, Let Me Roll It, Silly Love Songs, With A Little Luck). Brilliant ear-candy. At the same time, I realize there is just something a bit off-putting or uncool about him. And always has been. Drew Silly Love Songs, With a Little Luck are some of his best?

QuoteJumpingKentFlash I still love lots of stuff on A Bigger Bang. It’s bloated yes, and very hot and miss. A track like ONNYA - It really rocks! It’s a shame then that the lyrics for it are so abysmal. Then look at a song like Dangerous Beauty, which I think has great lyrics. And it rocks too…. It’s just overall it has that bloated feel, much more so than any of the previous three albums. You

He didn’t say he’s heard it and that it’s quite good. He says he’s heard it’s quite good. Someone, a third party, told him that they’ve heard it and it’s quite good. That’s how I read it anyway. And who cares anyway. I, ME, I want to hear it. If it’s done, RELEASE THE DAMN THING.

Quotebv When they played "Living In A Ghost Town" live in 2021 and 2022, Mick often introduced the song by saying "This is our lockdown song", or "This is something we hope will never happen again". "Ghost Town" is a great song live, they may play it this year too, but there will be a new album out in June, and I am sure they will tour behind that album nam
