QuoteKeefRichards88 Are all tickets mobile now? Trying to get a stub to keep as a suvenior but looks like ticketmaster and stubhub will only do mobile tickets. What if you don't have a mobile phone? This is the message I received earlier tonight from Ticketmaster for those of us without mobile phones: We appreciate your notifying us about your ticket inquiry. I understand that you have

Even though I scored two over-priced tickets to the Vancouver show, I feel scammed by the whole squalid process.

The premium pre-sale tickets for Vancouver are now on sale, outrageous pricing - what a scam.

For venues that are exclusively mobile ticket entry, are there any options for those who don't own a cell phone ?

An eight ticket maximum is excessive and plays into the hands of scam artists and profiteers looking to make a buck scalping tickets on the black market.

QuoteSecondSet Quotebcbud QuoteDGA35 I see AARP presales for Vancouver. I wonder are Canadians able to be members of AARP? Not sure if there's a CARP equivalent? According to Ticketmaster, the artist pre-sale starts at 12:00 am (midnight) on Nov 29 and the AARP pre-sale at 10:00 am, Nov 29. This suggests the artist pre-sale precedes by 10 hours the AARP pre-sale. Strange time to start

QuoteBeastyBurdeny QuoteDGA35 Quotebabyblue QuoteDGA35 Quotebabyblue Hey DGA35 & Topi…which shows do you plan to go to? Just planning Vancouver! Treacle, are you going to Seattle, too? Just one show hmmm I’m going 3-4 Nice! Not in my budget unfortunately. For 2024, 3 postponed shows: Madonna, Pink and Springsteen. Waiting for AC/DC tour announcement. Knowing my luck, Pink will res

The new Stones album, "Hackney Diamonds" is excellent. The LP pressed on green vinyl arrived last week from Amazon (three weeks overdue). Nipper (my dog) gave it a spin on Saturday and reports the vinyl is in good shape - a good pressing, no pops, clicks or surface noise. The music is up-tempo with plenty of classic Stones guitar riffs - Stones as we love them. Really, not a bad tra

Very exciting news, if true, that the Stones will be playing Vancouver, which was one of the four venues cancelled after the band resumed the COVID interrupted No Filter Tour ... a big disappointment as we had tickets on the floor. Of course, getting tickets for this upcoming show will be a challenge, given all the ticket bots and scam artist profiteers who seem to be able to push themselves

My 3-LP white vinyl copy arrived. While the sound quality is good and the performance is fairly decent latter day Stones, the physical manufacture of the vinyl is very disappointing. An ugly scratch scarred the beginning of Side 2 (for the first dozen rotations), crackles and pops are audible throughout all three records. The records are pressed slightly off-centre so that the stylus moves lat

QuoteDrPete Have bought and REBOUGHT the entire Beatles, Stones, Who, Led Zep, ACDC, Doors collections multiple times. AND am STILL thrilled to do so! Guess I'm a sucker :-) Me too, but I find my 70s and 80s era vinyl copies of Stones and Beatles sound better than the current re-issues which while good, sound a little muffled and flat in comparison to vintage vinyl ...

"With the Beatles" and "A Hard Day's Night" are two of the greatest hard rock albums ever. Early Beatles rocks the house down, bursting with energy, excitement and creativity whereas early Stones albums in comparison are kinda drab, highly derivative, on par with the Yardbirds and Animals, good, but nothing spectacular.

QuoteMILKYWAY QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteMILKYWAY I wish these boots were available as vinyl LPs. Thanks. Not sure why the watch is included, though. I'd happily purchase a vinyl LP of the archival releases - the 3-LP Brussels is especially appealing, but not as part of a trashy, overpriced boxset filled with trinkets and pieces of crap.

QuoteWhale Quotemarcovandereijk Whatever we howl, I think the choices are already made. It's just the fun of speculation. I do think our howling has some impact, maybe not now for 2012, but maybe for 2013. The more noise we make, the more we buy, the better the chances for us to get more stuff. on the contrary, if they release a Vegas era recording, which many will NOT buy (as this period

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteRobertJohnson QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteRobertJohnson The modern era often lacks the right guitar sound. Thin and in the background mixed guitars were recorded on all the boots from '89 onwards, especially on the boots in question Atlantic '89 and Miami '94. Too much prominent Chuck tinkling and so on. So it would be worth to get new versions with mo

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteErik_Snow Quotejohang go back to 72 and its already out there with L&G The problem with Ladies And Gentlemen is that the sound is blurry and not too good, and also that there are FAR better 1972 shows, from July 1972 The audio bootleg L&G has great sound. Re L&G, I wonder why they did not release a CD counterpart with the DVD, as they did with

Maybe stonesarchive is looking to first cash in on the downloads from the hardcore then release all the titles in conventional CD format or box-set, marketed to the larger audience but also appealing to the hardcore ... I'd much prefer factory produced CD versions of all these titles.

I wouldn't mind the entire Leeds '71 show, my copy omits the first few tracks and begins with Dead Flowers. Or a decent show from the '75 Tour, to make up for the dreadfully lacklustre, Love You Live. But El Mocambo appears to have the inside track, at least based on the comments in this thread, a good set-list and played in a small venue that should offer up a different feel
