Quotebv They rehearsed «Emotional Rescue» last week. No worries. Also Keith did «Silver» on Friday. Most of the HD songs are being rehearsed, and they sound great live. They are «en route” for another great tour, starting in Houston! Have they rehearsed Get Close?

Quotetreaclefingers QuoteMathijs QuoteDoxa This made me thinking why UNDERCOVER is such a forgotten album? I don't quite buy the explanation that 'well, it is not very good", since I think it is! Besides, do people even know it being good or bad, since they don' t, for god's sake, even listen it! - Doxa If you look at the albums released in 1983 I think it is only t

QuoteMathijs Quotecimaz Quote24FPS I never play this album. I don't even have a copy in my collection. It's a great single, UCOTN. Too bad it's on this totally meh album. Even Dirty Work is better. Totally agree with this statement. If you don't think tracks like Undercover, She Was Hot, Tie You Up, Too Much Blood, Pretty Beat Up, Too Tough and All The Way Down aren't

QuoteElmo Lewis Seems to be about the Redlands bust and the night in jail/prison. That era. Earlier as well because in the first verse he is singing about the Edith Grove days.

QuoteStonedRambler To me the difference in quality between the two albums is so extreme that the question "A Bigger Bang vs Hackney Diamonds" feels like "Undercover vs Exile". I won't even bother discussing this... Yet those two are also among my favorite Stones albums.

QuotePalace Revolution 2000 This is one song where I wonder if S Jordan had some input. When those "Drivin" BU voices come in, it sounds like 'Main Offender' Maybe. According to Martin Elliot's sessionography track goes back to the 2015 sessions.

Quotejahisnotdead Great to see them all on the Late Show. I doubt they will ever reunite for any musical performances. That's fine. It's just nice to know that they don't all hate each other and that they can enjoy celebrating their legacy together hopefully without too many hard feelings. It was great to see. 3/4 of the band never wanted to break up and David seems warmer to

QuoteMelBelli Quotebig4 QuoteMelBelli Keith tells Paul Sexton that he wanted to write a song around the unusual chord found in “Tell Me Straight.” It’s a B minor with a sharp five. He’s been intrigued by that chord for many years. You can hear him work with it on “Part of the Night” from the Fully Finished Outtakes set. Part of the Night is a strong tune. Evolved from Golden Caddy, right?

QuoteStonedRambler Quoteyeababyyea Quoteroller99 Exactly. I don’t consider Tattoo You to be an album of new material, a portion was leftovers from Some Girls. I can't get behind this way of thinking. All songwriters have unfinished songs in their backlog they are planning to use sometime in the future. Some Girls was released in 78 and Tattoo You in 81, with same logic if The Stones

All the people on here complaining about another album of Mick-written songs and Keith not very involved or involved enough, just getting one Keith ballad he sings and a rocker he doesn't. Are we talking about Goat's Head Soup or the yet-released Hackney Diamonds? Because everything y'all are saying just as easily applies to GHS.

QuoteMathijs I checked some live versions, and to my ears he always sings 'fight and fukc and feed', most of the times slurring it to 'fight and fukc'n feed' Mathijs Mick clearly, well maybe not all that clearly but a "the" after fire (the) is discernible to my ears in all of those.

For years I thought it was "find your fukcing feet." Still think its about shooting H but also about the experience of stealing the power plugging into the mobile to record the songs. A double meaning sort of like Brown Sugar. But if you listen to the lyrics the whole somg alludes to being high, what if feels like, how you perceive things-the numbness, disconnection, nodding off..
