i was a SFJ e-mail subscriber in 2005-06. guess it's last online issue came in november 2006, and some time after that i've read somewhere that SFJ editor had passed away (??) losing a battle with cancer. i truly hope that i am very wrong...

this is such a fun cd to listen quality is outstanding considering the age of tape, every instrument is clearly audible except maybe for bass which is the weakest; fun to hear mick t. and keef lose tempo and touch between each other and charlie towards the end of "sympathy" and in the middle of "rambler", and still they continue to move on like a real locomotive! stu's p

gave the dvd #1 a quick look, don't feel offended too much, my verdict is: waste. about 70% of footage is from gimme shelter and ya yas bonus dvd. 30% is maybe rare archival b/w footage, sometimes totally unwatchable in original though, but better it would be left untouched, as its' "remastering" annoys eye too much while mixed with quality official stuff and being "col
