He made those big fat Gauloises memorable. When I die, I'd like a big fat Gauloise in my mouth and a doting blonde hovering all over me. Not a bad way to go.... Charles Baudealaire 1821-1867

American Graffiti soundtrack defined the era of rock and roll. Rock and roll was dead by the time Easy Rider (Altamont) occurred. Let the good times roll! Charles Baudelaire 1821-1867

I saw him wave from the back seat of his limo to me and the other fans in Dublin as we queued in 2004 at The Point. I also saw a pair of live shows at Ronnie Scott's of him and his jazz band. Charles Baudelaire 1821-1867

I never thought that I would have said this one week ago: I hope this tour is aborted. It's not about the music. It's not about people's lives. It's about Mick and Keith getting filthy rich under the guise that they're helping the economy somehow by protecting the jobs of low wage earners. I can smell that dump and see the flies all the way from across the Atlantic O

"Fooled around and fell in love" is a great tune with or without Elvin Bishop. It's my favorite tune by Mickey Thomas. Charles Baudelaire 1821-1867

This is the only Stones show on the entire West Coast unless of course a Bay Area show is added. (The Stones HAVE to do another show there if possible--the fans are too rabid over there.) There have been a few Stones shows where it was hard to get a ticket--Phoenix was the most difficult in 2005. San Diego Sports Arena in late 2004 (I think!) was tough too. And then there was that one MSG show

I'll call my credit card and make a fraudulent report first. So I installed the Ticketbastard app. It wanted to know whether I wanted a Big Mac, a 20% off coupon for some Bed Bath & Beyond bullshit until--drum roll--asking whether I wanted to buy more tickets! I think that the government would do a better job at dispensing tickets than these scat-eating bacterially-infected virus-ridd

So I have to download an app on my phone to access my tickets? Wow! How complicated! I don't think I have enough space on my phone for such tomfoolery. Why don't the Ticket Bastard Nazis just fork over the tickets? Grrrrrr! Charles Baudelaire 1821-1867

So I was told that I purchased two Rear GA tickets for me and my son in LA. The only problem is that I don't know how to access them and have an e-mail in to technical support with Ticketbastards. Charles Baudelaire 1821-1867

Unfortunately, that's probably what I and my son will do. There will be some people who need to offload their tickets whether it's at the show or on CL. $500 is my budget for two half-way decent tickets where we can at least watch the Pecker on the Jumbotron pull his mug a few times and make zoinked-out facial expressions while Keith prowls around like the living Dead with a Gibson an

Buying four tickets doesn't make any sense. Does anybody know when the tickets go on sale to to general public? What is the extra Ticketmaster Nazi charge? Charles Baudelaire 1821-1869

I would like to take my son to see them with me. I don't want to pay more than $250 per ticket, but I refuse to sit in a crummy seat (i.e. behind the stage, etc.). I wouldn't mind two seats not too far away from the b-stage. Do you guys think that I might have luck scoring two cheap tickets on the day of the show? I've always been lucky before, but I once got swindled at MSG ba

I love the Stones' sound the way it is. I don't consider it sloppy. It's more freewheeling, weaving, jamming. It's its own creature just as much as the Dead's sound was its own creature. Either one likes it or not. I find the band's music absolutely irresistible. Charles Baudelaire April 9, 1821 - August 31, 1867

It is lamentable that the band's public agency has not yet announced the cancellation for the San Diego and Vancouver shows. The band can always reschedule some of the dates if it wants to proceed with the tour in the prairie states and midwest. Come on boys and do the right thing. Charles Baudelaire 1821-1869

You did the right thing. You beat the crowds and the rush. The band will be back. It's resilient. In the meantime, let's cue Ronnie's I Feel Like Playing. Now that's a great spin that one. I love the Pecker. Charles Baudelaire 1821-1869

This is one of the best forums I've ever seen. Folks are relatively civil here. It's drôle that it's for a negative storyline. Still the communication is good. The trolls don't seem here at least in the last several posts. I wanted to take someone very special to my heart to see The Stones. My dad took me to see the Stones when I was a kid. It reminded me that the world

Thanks. I understand stage left, but I don't understand what Pit 2 means. I see that some tickets says "obstructed view" and "limited view" and these are purple and light blue seats that seem to look straight on towards the stage. I want two tickets for my buddy and me. I don't want to spend more than $400 or $500 for both. Any suggestions anyone? I assume t

Hi, what side is Keith on? Stage Right or Stage Left (looking out at the audience from the stage itself) I think he's on stage left based on the photos I've seen. It's been so long since I've seen them that I can't remember too well. Would somebody help me out? Thanks, Charles Baudelaire 1821-1869
