What is wrong with the sound on these releases? The youtube clip sounds dull. They did not use the master mulitrack tapes? It sounds like a dodgy stereo. My old capture of the Emmy Award HBO version is much better

The only exception to my ears was Hampton 1981 and Tokyo 1990. These releases really sound good. Everything else is a disaster, including the recently released 1989 Atlantic city. Rio 2006 so far (EP) is a huge disappointment (Mick's voice occasionally sounds distorted)

I got the deluxe box and I'm a bit dissapointed with the sound. Both Atlantic City and Tokyo sound muffled. I tried an equalizer but high tones seem to be in one single channel. Picture of the blu ray is stunning but what was this sound man doing for this box? The separate Tokyo 1990 released earlier as a vault disc sounded crystal clear

I thought Wolfgangs Vault holds the best version of the show. Seems a straight SBD, all other recordings are video rips which sound quite heavy in sound.

It's fairly easy to rip a video or audio file from Youtube. Just follow: and copy-paste the url of the youtube address. Scroll down and the links are there. Always works for me.

LSTNT was filmed and I assume one can make a brilliant blu ray 16:9 from that master tape, apart from the fact it runs too fast at its current stage. Hampton is great but it was videotaped, thats why the current release still is in the old 4:3 format. But anything is better than our old bootleg VHS.

I'm sorry but that is not correct. You can let PowerDVD run a DVD from your hard-drive. By selecting a full DVD, it will ask were to find the xx.IFO file. From there it runs the menu. All other DVD's posted here run perfectly like this. However, the one seeded here does not (at least in my hands) Remon
