QuoteCaptain Teague QuoteMisterDDDD Rosanne Cash tweeted this story out yesterday along with a request for people to sign a petition against it. "It's unconscionable for Live Nation to put the onus on artists for gigs that are cancelled because of the pandemic. You can sign a petition in opposition and I hope you will" Live Nation Wants Artists to Take Pay Cuts and Cancela

this dude has been putting up loads of soundboards including many which have never seen the light of day. No chance to compare yet. Rolling Stones 1978.xx.xx (spring) Bearsville Studios, Woodstock, N.Y. (Low gen sbd) The Set List: (59 tracks) Comments: This is likely the best sounding and most complete version of this recording

QuoteQuique-stone Thanks Dan! Is this your own recording? I guess so... Nope from a collection of really poorly labeled discs someone dropped off at a friend's house but this one was easy to figure out. No idea if this is the same or how it compares to what's already out there. Someone just gave all my friend this stuff. Not only poorly labeled, some so incoherent I had to

Journey - Frontiers And Beyond (1983 tour documentary) When I first saw this when I was like 10 I was disappointed there wasn't as much music as I hoped but now it still stands as the best life on the road documentary. First show, Journey & Bryan Adams at the Forum 1983!

Quotebuttons67 i thought slade chucked it back in the 80,s. news to me they were still ongoing. I found a tape of their last show in 1984 and put it on Dime a few years ago. After that they broke up and also did 1 song (Chuck Berry cover) at a fan convention in 1991. Otherwise this is some scab version.

QuoteDougratajczak87 Quotebv The average revenue i.e. ticket sales per show is USD 10 million so they are currently holding on to 150 million us dollars until the shows are canceled. I don’t know the concert business. Does anyone know if they actually likely have most of the funds or if payments have been made to the band, etc.? Usually deposits are paid up front (or advanced in increments -

Quotemicawber I understand that in the moment I'm (from Europe under quarantine) not able to get my tickets refunded, because the Stones didn't cancel but postpone? There is no way for me to travel to the tour for the rest of 2020 or even 2021 due to business. What a ripoff. What the $%*#???? Any recommendations from some of you experienced US citizens? QuoteHairball QuoteDan I have a lot of experience with refunds and it was between March 12 & 13 that the policy changed. Now the events I am looking at in my account are LiveNation produced events, Ticketmaster's parent company. From someone in the know ... (this is generally speaking) but near term ticket sales in North America are down and long term ticket sales are healthy. Secondary market exchanges are changing payment policies to payment after event for all events for some sellers or for specified "high risk" events (Coachella, Burning Man etc) for others. My roommate just informed me he has been s

Quoterollmops Do scalpers pay taxes on the profits they make on reselling tickets? Rockandroll, Mops In America, yes. If they sell thru exchanges or are getting massive deposits in their bank accounts, then their payouts are reported to the IRS. Now street scalpers buying and selling in the parking lot can probably under report income and profits.

Quotedaspyknows Quotevirgil How about all the organizations that are in cahoots with all these secondary markets. All the college and pro sports teams ,concert promoters and many venues are also guilty. There are plenty of stubhubs located right on the property of the game or show you are attending. Stubhub gets 33% on the listed price, they charge the seller 15 and the buyer 18 then throw in the

QuoteThe Joker Seems Ticketmaster adapts.. During the last pre-sale, as least for San Diego, one could only buy printed tickets to be picked up at the venue, or digital tickets to be downloaded from Ticketmaster.com to your cell phone. "No PDF tickets" it said Maybe one could resell a digital ticket to be downloaded on a mobile phone, but you certainly cannot resell it on Viagogo.

QuoteTopi BC Place has soccer May 16 so the Stones would need to be loaded out by then. However, the same stadium is available for a month before... IF San Diego = May 17 and Austin = May 24 it's quite difficult to see them go to Vancouver in between. Also, with Buffalo rumored June 6 the "end of May/beginning of June" slot will probably land somewhere closer to Buffalo. (Detroi
