QuoteHairball For what it's worth I think the Canyon Clubs (there are several of them throughout SoCal) have all been requiring proof of vaccinations. That could have changed since they started having shows again recently, but as far as I know the Foo Fighters are not the ones who are making the rules here. *edit: Just looked it up, and originally when shows started again at the Cany

Saw about 30 seconds at Lolla 94 then laid down in the poetry tent until L7 came on. However saw The Longshot at the Redwood a few years ago and that was most excellent. Will probably go to Dodger Stadium if Kevin Preston from Prima Donna is on 2nd guitar.

QuoteTopi Do the food/concession revenues go to the band, though? I don't think so. Merch, of course, does. Usually it's the venue. Sometimes the promoter takes a cut. I've been to different shows on succeeding days at the same venue where concessions prices change. (Joan Jett/Cherie Currie and Blondie at Pacific Amph) In the case of LiveNation amphitheatres, promoter a

Quotesmashmark The 97 tour was all over the northeast in October, Buffalo was 10/8 and giants stadium was 10/16,17 so no issue with outdoor shows in October And I recall the poor weather compared with past fall tours was an inspiration for the NO SECURITY tour.

QuoteTopi Wouldn't Pittsburgh in October be kind of chilly though? OK, maybe not early October. Bands are booking amphitheatre shows in the east (at least outside WDC) into late October this year.

As of a few weeks ago the US government still wasn't issuing visas. It's why no foreign acts are on many 2021 festivals and some events still getting pushed to 2022.

A song or two was broadcast on ... something, right? That's an interesting mistake as in they aren't even remotely close. Austin DVD totally blows anyway, would be nice to have something new.

QuoteKennedy Great show, up against the rail on the B stage. I seem to remember Mick joking that they had turned the LA Forum into a church before playing Far Away Eyes. (This was before the renovation, when the Forum was rarely used, except for a weekly Sunday gospel service) Nowadays I will go to almost anything here, it's just so nice inside and the sound is almost always good. Not one of the best recordings but out of 37 Rolling Stones shows I saw this is definitely in the top 5. Kind of a weird one, for as massive as this tour was, this was under promoted, under the radar and no hype whatsever. There was even a block of empty seats in the rear lower level. But they put on an amazing show and pulled out quite a few rarely played gems. ROLLING STONES INGLEWOOD,C

I just saw a bunch of VHS tapes laying on the sidewalk in Sun Valley, CA. I kicked them around a bit looking for anything I wanted but wasn't in any position to carry the whole batch home.

QuoteCamRS Hi all, Hoping to get some advice from my fellow Stones fans. I was curious to see who is still holding onto their tickets? I had refunded my Pit seats towards the end of the summer last year in the event I needed the money. Sure enough, I was laid off in early Fall. I got a job earlier last month so I have the luxury to spend my money on things like Stones tickets again. I’m

Quotegrzegorz67 QuoteDan Maybe not Coachella but Stagecoach should be held somewhere, country music fans are so ready to party. I'm sure they are. Unfortunately the virus is ready to party too... Country music fans are still buying tickets and got far fewer refunds when events were postponed. These were the bands that immediately downscaled and played anywhere allowed under any local soc

Quotestargroover Paul is sounding great with his soul band right now!A mixture of soul classics and his own soul compositions. The new album is out in March! What a beautiful voice he has.Love that falsetto. You can check recent stuff on You Tube. No thanks. I had to endure this live five years ago so between that and the gawdawful Dubai show I can't imagine this improving since.

QuoteNilsHolgersson At least the Stones have been able to tour for about 60 years and we still have the videos. It must be so hard for up and coming artists who would have their big year in 2020, 2021, 2022 doing festivals, shows etc.. the Stones are enjoying life on their private islands and have some time to write songs for their next album A friend of mine, band leader and working musician w

Quotecrholmstrom I watched "Rock n Roll All Night" from Dubai on youtube. Wretched excess defined. You know Gene had to be cringing inside whilst watching a million dollars worth of fireworks burn up in under 10 minutes, haha. In Dubai? The fuel for those flames is coming right out of the ground. But $50 for the same set that wasn't really worth $30 to see live in March? Pass.
