Hi Everybody, For those of you who are not on the e-mail list, I wanted to let you know that we are just slightly ahead of schedule as far as the book is concerned. If everything holds out, there is a possibility that we may begin to ship the book before the September time period that we originally planned.

Hi Everybody, It's been a long time since I've been able to communicate with you all. I'm here with good news. You may now commence to putting in pre-orders for A Pig's Tale. It's the book by the guy who started the Trademark Of Quality bootleg label back in 1969. I am the head researcher for the book. The work that went into this book was long and a labor of love.

Hi Everybody, Somebody here knows the answer to this. I need to know because I'm doing research for a book about the Trademark Of Quality label by the guy who started it. What are the exact dates for the DVD and the CDs in this title? I know that they are different shows, but Eagle does not list specifically which shows they are from from the run they did at The Forum. I need to know t

I am happy to announce that the book about the original Trademark Of Quality label is now back on and likely to see release next year. The story about Live'r Than You'll Ever Be and other Rolling Stones titles will be a part of the book. A promo teaser for it is up at YouTube and is called Pig's Tale Sizzle Reel. Since this is a Rolling Stones forum, let's not forget that Mick Taylor had a book he was working on and then it never got released. I hope it will come out eventually.

Blues Pills. If you have not heard of them, I highly recommend that you check them out. This is the first time in many years that I've been excited about a band that is a lot younger than myself.

Any links that I've seen so far show the DVDs as being Region 2. For those of us in the U.S., please keep us informed if you see pre-order links for North American Region DVDs. I'm holding off on Hampton '81 and the L.A. '75 show until then.

I'd really like it if any of these shows got officially recorded for future release. Otherwise, I hope the shows point towards some kind of sign that Wood and Taylor would consider doing a recording project of their own in the near future with the prupose of it being released. This might have to be an alternative to hope for in case if the 50 And Counting Tour was not a sign that Taylor is

Hi Again stonesrule, I'm honored that you answered my post. My Hendrix post that I wrote can be found at and it's at the top of the page. I'm not terribly proficient in my computer use. I hope it doesn't come off as too spacy, but I was a kid in between 6th and 7th Grade that Summer and I was open to taking in so much music back then. I was a sponge as far as that g

I just wanted to come out of lurk mode and say to stonesrule that your posts here in this thread are very moving. I've been a fan of Jimi's since 1974. There's an old blog of mine online that I used to work on that has not been in use for quite some time. But if you'd care to read about what it was like when I discoverd Jimi's music and the impact it made on me, please

There are new quotes from Keith Richards and Mick Taylor in the latest issue of the U.S. edition of Rolling Stone (June 7, 2012). There's also new information about the upcoming documentary. Along with some reinforcement of old quotations and information, I think all of you will find it a very interesting article contained within this issue. Make of it what you will.

If I was to venture to guess, there is a possibility that Taylor may be waiting to hear from Bill and/or Charlie as to what the atmosphere is like as the jamming sessions start up before making any moves.

As far as I can tell and based ont he people over at the Hoffman Forum and IMWAN, there have been no further updates on when or if the box will come out this year. I hope Wood was actually speaking officially when he made his remark and not just speaking optimistically off the top of his head.

It will only be 4 shows instead of 6. The title of the set is 4 Ed Sullivan Shows Starring The Rolling Stones. SOFA Entertainment is the same company which released The Beatles set. The due date for the set to drop is October 4th. We'll just have to see if it actually follows through.

keefriffhard4life, If you want to get the best sounding CCR albums, then try to get the Analogue Productions SACD Hybrid versions of the albums which were mastered by Steve Hoffman and Kevin Gray. They came out in 2002. However, I don't know if they are in print anymore or if copies can be easily found. Hoffman did master the old DCC Gold titles that they did of them as well, but th

This is a marvelous shot. It's wonderful that you were able to find this. It looks like Charlie is going through another one of his "I wish I could be anywhere else except at this press conference" moments. Do you have any idea if this might be available as a print or is it just in an archival state?
