"A limited edition book, Stu, about Ian Stewart, privately published by Out-Take and published in an edition of 950, compiled and edited by Will Nash. Featuring over 100 text and photographic contributors about Stewart, co-founder of The Rolling Stones. Hand-bound in leather, ea

Hi everyone. Anyone know the title of the Ian Stewart book from the '80's? I'm sure there is a bio written about Ian Stewart that I heard of 20, 30 yrs. ago but have never been able to find it and NOW I can't remember the title or even find any reference to it. Anyone know the title, author, release date or any other information? Greatly appreciate ANY help her

I saw The New Barbarians in Denver, '78 and was blown away. I saw Keith Richards and the X-Pensive Winos in Chicago, '88, again blown away. I have the Mistral boot, which is great. Connection from the official release isn't on it and was added from another show. Before They Make Me Run IS on it. That one isn't part of the re-release is it?

Just watched this and it was totally worth it. Keith was absolutely great but the whole show is just wonderful. Wouldn't have known about it if it wasn't for this great Stones website. Thank you so much Jacob Tolliver is the guy

Wow. Very similar, in my opinion to the Specials Ghost Town song.

QuoteHairball That said, at this point I think a majority of fans would be pleased to have an original Stones album no matter what it sounds like. That's me! I'm in no matter what. Although "no matter what it sounds like" isn't a complete accurate description I can't articulate it better right now so I'm going with you Hairball

Quotebitusa2012 I've said it before and I'll say it again,,if they FAIL to deliver a new album after nearly 2 decades they have simply become the world's best, no doubt, but most expensive cruise ship band ever. Hahahahaha. Hilarious "Just gonna splatya"

QuoteSpud The trouble these days is that most of us are, or are quickly becoming, miserable , cantankerous old buggers . Indeed Spud :> But I, for one, love The Rolling Stones and ALL their albums, records, music, whatever one wishes to label it. Period. Now and forever. Dangerous Beauty Laugh, I Nearly Died. Great stuff. All of it. To ME Don't care if you disagree

Quotecrumbling_mice Perhaps it's best not to have an album of 'new' material...they pulled it off with B&L and that was because they picked classic blues songs and whilst they obviously couldn;t improve on the originals, they managed to do some acceptable covers. I seriously doubt that they could write a new album's worth of good material and the likely outcome will b

Century Link does NOT support ipv6 and has no immediate plans to do so, so I'm screwed as far as ELL is concerned, which is a REAL bummer. Managed to get to the login page through the tunnel, (thanks JimmyShelter) but my profile must be deleted, was told my user name was incorrect so I tried creating a new profile but was kept being told my birthdate was wrong! Tried the recove

Haven't been able to logon to ELL for months. FINALLY found this thread. My computer has everything IPv6 enabled but still no connect. Finally found my router/modem isn't IPv6 capable so until I get one that is, it's a no-go. Just thought I'd mention this in case anyone else having similar issues may solve it by getting an IPv6 capable modem

Quotematxil Not a very interesting article in the Guardian, but one thing caught my attention: "Earlier this year, Mick Jagger hinted that the Stones had new material for a potential album. “It would be very nice and I’ve got a lot of new songs and songs I’ve written over the last couple of years,” he said. “I’ve done really good demos for all of them, which I would love to record. Not all of the movies in this are audio, only the ones with "aud" in the title, the rest of the movies are very low definition with a 4:3 aspect ratio. The .pic files can also be opened with Adobe Illustrator, which I used to open and convert them with. I have uploaded the pictures worth converting in .bmp format, the other pictures are just pieces of a montage of part of the "inte

They have some kind of protection on this video, at least where I'm at (Denver). Tried several methods to download the video, all with negative results. Not giving up though.

Thank you so very much for these posts. I've been looking hi and low for 'em since I first heard about the show, (I live in a cave) and to my most pleasant surprise seem to have found them all right here. I'll do my best to get 'em all. Thanks so much again from Denver. Can't wait to listen to the first one in a few minutes. Listening to it now! Johnny B. Goode! If yo
