Maybe they changed some of the credits. Like Brian playing the Bo Diddley rhythm guitar on Mona and not Keith. Keith playing lead guitar on Grown Up Wrong and What a Shame and not Brian on slide guitar. His Majesty has corrected some of these already.

QuoteHis Majesty All going well post pandemic, I'll be meeting collector Ali Zayeri in London to listen to acetate of the 1962 Curly Clayton session, Brian's Regent Sound acetate from 63/64 etc. Is this the Sure I Do and I Want You to Know sessions you are referring to? If so did you get to listen and more importantly what did you think?

QuoteMathijs Quoteovalvox Quoteyearsinthemaking My take is completely different. You have a band that hadn't played live in a year and a half playing songs that were completely new handcuffed by only one person playing guitar in front of an audience that wasn't just a bunch of screaming teens. I think it's amazing. The colors are wonderful and a perfect capturing of the late 60&

I searched Amazon Prime Coda for this and it is nowhere to be found. I’ve been hearing about this for a few years now. Where is it? I bought the book and the CD thinking a DVD was jut around the corner. Is the ever going to be released?

Two words. Brian Jones. I first became a fan after I read Up and Down With The Rolling Stones by Tony Sanchez. 1979 I believe. Been a fan ever since. Especially of Brian.

You can’t do much overdubbing with a two track recorder. I have a four track recorder and the more stuff I overdub the worse the overall sound becomes. Ping ponging as Keith called it muddles everything the more you do it. Kind of like a room full of people all talking at the same time. Certainly not clear. If anything the Stones played it all together (with Brian on electric guitar including the

QuoteSwayed1967 QuoteHis Majesty QuoteTheflyingDutchman It's the hardcore Stones fans only that acknowledge Brian's importance for the band. Many of the younger generation doesn't even know who Mick Taylor or Bill Wyman was; It's Ron Wood who's the second guitarist in the stones for them, for 45 years already. That's life. Instagram etc etc is chock full of yo

The movie would have to start with Mick and Keith being impressed with Brian playing slide guitar to Dust My Blues. That is the point in time that is the most pivital. "It's f@cking Elmore James." This is the start of the Rolling Stones. That first meeting of the three. This would have to be close to three hours. No revisionist history. Just the truth. Yeah Mick, Keith and An

I tried to go see this last night but I couldn't make it. It was only 15 minutes from my house here in the suburbs of Detroit. There is no other showings. I wish I knew about this the 1st. I did absolutely nothing. I wanted to go to see if maybe Brian's guitar was more audible. Did anyone see it?

One of my favorite Stones tracks of all time. Charlie starts it off with a great drum intro followed by Keith hitting it hard on rhythm guitar with a firm backing by Bill. Brian highlights it with lead guitar playing his Rick 12 string. Mick takes it home with his cynical vocals. When Bill said they were the sum of five equal parts this song must have come to mind. Great all around tune. I like b

Quotebuttons67 if its for the younger generation it would need to be released in rap form, and the promo video would need to hide the guitars incase it leads to confusion. LMFAO! This is so true.

QuoteRedhotcarpet Quoteovalvox After reading all of this there is only one solution to this problem. The only thing that stands out out of all of the versions of this public domain song is this. Brian Jones' guitar part that he wrote as verified by Keith Richards and Bill Wyman. He should get the song writing credit. Maybe his estate should sue Jagger, Richards, Oldham, Ashcroft and the Klei

QuoteIrix "Formed in 1962 by the late guitarist and blues aficionado Brian Jones, The Rolling Stones first stable line-up included Jones plus; Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Bill Wyman and pianist Ian Stewart. This line-up stayed in place (albeit with Stewart only continuing as a touring member from 1963) until the departure of Brian in 1969, a month before his tragic de

Quotepftw04 Bohemian Rhapsody is all about Queens music and lifestyle. The film has shown how the band has formed and how they recorded music and all. Anyways. Now why cant a director producer male a film of ROLLING STONES, depicting the lives of Mick and Keith, how their musical interest has grown, how they formed the band, the first contract and live show, their lifestyle and of cause recording

Always thought the Stones did a great job with the Berry tunes. They hit it harder than Berry. Around and Around is my favorite. That one just builds as the song goes along. Carol has a great guitar break by Keith. He does all the fills as well. Brian just chugs along on rhythm guitar hitting it harder than the original. Bill sneaks in a quick break. Charlie keeps a steady beat. Mick does a good

This and the stereo version sound really good. Good enough to have been released on an album. There is clearly only one guitar. Keith. The piano sounds like Stu but legend has it he refused to play on any songs with minor chords and this song has minor chords in it. Organ? Brian? That's How Strong My Love Is was around this time. Brian picking up an instrument playing it on a couple of tunes
