QuoteIrix QuoteDiamondDog7 I've seen the book in the book store already. Two weeks. Here in The Netherlands. I was suprised, because I thought it would appear somewhere in October. Must have been the UK-Edition which was released on 15-Sep-2022. The US-Edition will be released on 11-Oct-2022 and the Dutch Edition on 19-Oct-2022 - . Awesome!!!! Then I will wait for the Dutch version

I've seen the book in the book store already. Two weeks. Here in The Netherlands. I was suprised, because I thought it would appear somewhere in October. I was browsing thru the pages; awesome photos, fonts were pretty large, and the book wasn't that thick. Maybe I will buy it someday.

Quotestargroover Get Mick T and play it live for 60 years shows Please don't! The magic is in the studio version (1974)! The Stones will ruin the whole song now. For sure.

The Stones will never play this live. Like so many other songs. This is a typical "Taylor song" which they can't play, I think. I hope. TWFNO is too pure and beautiful to be played by the lads these days... Sorry to say that.

With this Tattoo You deluxe release I don't think there will be It's Only Rock n Roll deluxe/anniversary edition at all. Or are there any more outtakes/lost rarities during 1974 during IORR sessions? Because Drift Away is already here.

QuoteErik_Snow Quotetreaclefingers Living in the Heart of Love is a fantastic performance of a very average song. The Stones and especially Mick are just able to milk the most out of the most inane material. They have great song writing abilities but this song isn't evidence of that, but evidence of what an amazing performing act they are and have always been. Absolutely agree. Same ca

I really wonder what they've done with the guitar parts of Mick Taylor...? And if he will be mentioned in the credits (besides Tops and Waiting on a Friend) on this box set...

QuoteKRiffhard Quotejackflash27 Quotepeoplewitheyes Nice read, great guy, but it tells us almost nothing about this supposed TY rerelease. Well in fact the article tells us lots of new facts about the release: - Tattoo you will be re-released - It's not just a re-release, but the 40th anniversary re-release of the album - The album probably will be released this year (otherwise the &#

Filler! Nothing special! Throwaway song! Lyrics are garbage and the song isn't that good. But hey, it's matter of taste.

I never was a big fan of The Golden Earring or other Dutch bands like Kane, Di-Rect, Kensington, Handsome Poets etc etc. BUT I always have the greatest respect for The Golden Earring for what they have achieved in music history. Very sad news about the guitar player.

QuoteMidnight Toker It is a crime that this song has never been played live. My favorite KR song! So much soul. I prefer ballads than his uptempo songs. Except Happy! ;-)

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteDiamondDog7 QuoteGasLightStreet It's interesting to me that GOATS HEAD SOUP got a second life because of Giles Martin remixing it plus the extra material. What might be more interesting is that nothing else got that treatment. Sure, EXILE has the crumbs of extras and SOME GIRLS a little more and the same with STICKY FINGERS. But new life into an album? Abbey Road runs a close second but is let down by a few duffers on side 1. 1971 - Sticky Fingers/Who's Next tie at No 1. 1972 - Exile On Main Street. Quotetimbernardis QuoteDiamondDog7 Quotetimbernardis QuoteDiamondDog7 Born and raised in Rotterdam (The Netherlands) 39 years old. My first record of the Stones was Rewind, and then More Hot Rocks, Sticky Fingers. On cassette! I've played those cassettes over and over again. The sound is totally destroyed by now! LOL My favorite Stones periods are with Brian Jones and Mick Taylor.
