Description Howdy folks,

A request for this one. I am 99% certain, by the note style, this came from Doc Tinker. Many thanks goes to him for sharing it! I had to make a MD5, for it to be shared here; but everything else is exactly the same as I received it. While more blues than rock, I am still putting in 'rock' for more to see. I'm unable to make a sample on the computer I am using, but it sounds very, very good for it's time. If you are a fan, you won't want to miss this.

So here´s my favorite tape from the John Mayall´s Bluesbreakers:
A very unusual performance with some incredible playing by the boys,
not the usual live stuff, but great!

This is the best sounding audience recording of John Mayall´s Bluesbreakers from the 60´s I heard yet!
(overall a more well balanced sound than on the Windsor Fest. 67 tape)

After a month and a half break the Rolling Stones Steel Wheels/Urban Jungle tour kicked off again on May 18th in Rotterdam, Holland. It appears the opening night featured here as circulated on three bootleg releases, the 2LP and 2CD set “Live In Holland” and the 2CD set “Three Nights In Feyenoord-May18, 1990".

This version comes from the same source used for those two versions but is from a verified 1st generation copy and is a big material upgrade over both releases. Both circulating versions run fast as did this version which has been corrected. It has more up front presence and crispness with the occasional sound waver present due to the outdoor venue.

The Hollanders at this show are a noisy bunch but don’t confuse this as a new alternate source, I’ve given it the deluxe treatment and through modern software seamlessly removed about 90% of external audience noise. The other 10% is too embedded in the music frequencies to remove without damaging the actual music.

COMENTS: THIS IS THE MASTER SOURCE.I KNOW THAT THEY EXIST A BOOTLEG IN CIRCULATION THAT PROBABLY ,JUST PROBABLY USED THE SAME SOURCE, BUT I'M NOT SURE AND I CAN NOT SAFELY CERTIFY IF IT IS A COPY OF MY FILE THAT WAS USED ON A RADIO SHOW.IN ANY CASE, WHAT I CERTIFY IS THAT THESE SHOWS 9TH AND 10TH THEY ARE MY MASTER SOURCE NEVER BEFORE UPLOAD ON DIME SO FAR.

BOTH SHOWS ARE RECORDED BY X.V. & CARBOBUENO.BOTH RECORDED ON BACK TO THE VENUE RIGHT SIDE OF THE TECH.DECKS.THESE SHOWS ARE MASTER COPIES RECORDED ON ANALOG AUDIO TAPES TDK SA-90 MIN. THE 9TH SHOW PROBABLY HAS BETTER SOUND THAN THE SECOND NIGHT, BUT THERE ARE SOME SMALL OSCILLATIONS OF THE REC.VOLUME AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SHOW ( FIRST TRACK) AND A FADE OUT-FADE IN IN HAPPY JUST MISSING THE START.
