Mick Taylor Unplugged w/Erwin Nijhoff (vocals)
Recorded Nov. 24, 2001 at Radio 192 studio
Hilversum (Netherlands)
Broadcast Nov. 26 & Dec. 3, 2001

Setlist:

An acoustic radio session from Dutch radio station "Radio 192", featuring Erwin Nijhoff on vocals.

Guitar Tuning
Sister Morphine
Dead Flowers
Guitar Tuning
I Got The Blues
Guitar Tuning
No Expectations
Guitar Tuning
Dead Flowers (5 takes)
Time Waits For No One (3 takes)

Mick Taylor was asked to do a Radio Interview as part of a upcoming Rolling Stones Special being put together, he was asked to maybe take part in some Stones Classic Tunes, unknown to Mick was what songs he would be asked to play, so what you hear here is the Genius of Mick Taylor, doodling to songs he hadn't played in a 1/4 of a Century ! Well Mick seemed to pick up right where he left off, it is amazing to hear how he just starts picking apart Time Waits for no One, this is a classic song that Mick Taylor never got credit for writing the Melody, that song alone is worth the "price" of this CD.

enjoy,

Gripweed"

"Mick Taylor with Wentus Blues Band
Radisson Hotel Plaza Club
Karlstad Sweden
09-12-2006

Setlist:

CD-1
01 Cry For Me (without Mick Taylor)
02 Stop Breaking Down
03 Fed Up With THe Blues
04 Losing My Faith
05 Have You Ever Loved A Woman
06 You Gotta Move

CD-2
07 Ventilator Blues
08 Little Red Rooster
09 Taking Care Of Business
10 Hip Shake
11 Can't You Hear ME Knocking
encore
12 No Expectations

The Band:
Mick Taylor - Guitar, vocals
Juho Kinaret - Vocals
Niko Riippa - Guitar
Robban Hagnas - Bass
Mikael Axelqvist - Drums
Pekka Grohn - Keyboards

The place was packed. It was a tiny little dance area next to the big inner square of the Radisson Hotel.
It could only hold 300 or so people. Luckely they kept the doors open for people who had to stay outside so they could hear the show.
Wentus Blues Band did a great job as a background group for Mick. He really enjoyed hiself during this 10 days Sweden tour.
So far the last things Mick did.....
With 7 out of 11 songs which have a Stones background it's almost a Stones revival show.
Wentus opened the show with 3 songs from their new CD " Family Album" A Blues album featuring many special guest stars.

The pictures in the artwork are taken during this show. The frontcover is part off a billboard I found in the city.

Enjoy this geat show, Mick Taylor at his best.
Let's hope the Vibrato continues..............."

recently there was an aud recording of the reformed bluesbreakers from glen cove, ny from 1982. it was a show i was very glad to have attended. today i offer you a sb, although incomplete, of this same show.

the earlier aud version is here-

the quality on the sb recording is great but unfortunately what exists from that source is incomplete. i understand that only one side of the master was recorded and never flipped. at least the whole thing is around from the aud source. also included are scans of an ad for the show and my ticket stub.
